“We had hired Karen for a few individual projects (bath, laundry) over the years but when we decided to renovate a 40 year old home there was no question that we would select Karen Wright to be our general contractor. During a booming housing market in our region it was impressive that Karen was able to line up all of the appropriate sub-contractors during the busy summer season. We managed through some unforeseen obstacles that Karen was able to solve. We finished on time and our progress calendar was updated weekly. Excellent communication and follow up on all details. We love our new home and have enjoyed inviting friends to see what she has given us.”

“Rod has remolded many rooms in my house, and all have been mini masterpieces of perfection and beauty. With each project, I take pleasure in observing his fine craftsmanship and his passion for perfectionism-- as he is bound and determined to make sure every cut, every corner, is perfect. As an example, when Rod was connecting two pieces of oak crown molding into the corner of my dining room ceiling, he made multiple cuts to make sure there was absolutely no gap between the connection, even when all I could see was a hairline crack! Rod not only exemplifies a razor sharp attention to detail and dedication to making sure the job is perfect, but values what is beautiful. To illustrate: When it came time to staining some beautiful oak pieces for a project, which I had planned to stain by hand, he recommended that he spray them for a more polished look, even though this meant a lot more work for him, e.g having to cover and protect everything else in plastic, etc., at no extra charge! Lastly, there are a couple of other reasons to hire Rod: He cleans up beautifully after working, and he's friendly!”

“We hired Thinking Global Painting to stain and paint the exterior of our house. We are very satisfied with the end results. The crew was very conscientious and followed through to get the job right. We did have issues with scheduling, work didn't begin as planned and the overall communication with the manager was less than we expected. Robbie tended to over promise as far as the timing but was honest about following through with the job promised. We understand the plight of the small business person, with balancing clients and their labor. We would have appreciated better and more timely communication from the manager but we are happy with the quality of the work itself. The job required some replacement siding and scaffolding for access, all of which was dealt with as needed. Overall, we're happy to have chosen Robert and his crew and would recommend Thinking Global for painting and light construction jobs.”

“EVC & C provided structural work, siding and framing, installation of a door and windows, as well as consultation to my husband who was acting as general contractor on our elaborate kitchen remodel. All work was quality. He was timely in his work, deferred to the structural engineer as appropriate, and provided guidance to my husband who did the demolition and a lot of the framing. He worked us into his already busy construction schedule. We enjoyed working with him and his sons, who were part of the on-site crew. Highly recommend him for either a full remodel or to any homeowner wishing to do much of the work of their own construction project. Reasonably priced, billed on time and materials. 5 stars from the Starr's.”
