“Our rental property sustained roof damage during high winds and rain earlier this month exposing the wood roof above an occupied townhome. A call was made to Holmes Build when the damage was discovered the next evening. The owner was at the property within an hour to assess the roof damage and securely tarp the exposed areas as more rain and wind was expected that evening. The repair and replacement of shingles was completed efficiently by 2 professionals with minimal disturbance to residents in the building and all damaged material was bagged and hauled away. “I first met Matt when he was hired by a client of mine for a fussy renovation project in Pittsburgh. The project involved interrupting much of the Owner's house especially the second floor and the roof. It required careful planning and staying on task. Matt was respectful as my role as the Owner's architect and followed my drawings and instructions carefully. When unexpected details arose, he was skilled but sensitive in knowing how to address them. We met up again recently as I referred him to another project.
