Mareno Construcion started on our home on Jan 5th 2017 and my home was completed in April 2017 and we were able to move in in May of 2017. If you are looking to build and you want it done right, give Mareno Construction a call. The owners are very knowledgeable in homebuilding industry. Their entire focus was making sure we were happy and pleased with the progress they were making on the construction of our new home. They are fair, easy to work with, reliable and most of all dependable. You can always text or call and talk with one of the owners, whenever you have questions. Just know, you will never be ignored. “AIP Construction is true to their name! They can help make Anything Possible! I moved into the area and was in need of a home. I searched for a home on the market that I thought would be right for me. I couldn't find a home that fit my wants and needs that I absolutely loved or thought was worth the price. After meeting with Jonathan and Teressa, I knew I was on the right track. They encouraged me to make a list of must haves and wants and then prioritize the list. I did that and gave it to them. We looked at plans. Although I had bought several pre-existing homes, I had never built. I was having a hard time visualizing what the home would look like from drawing to reality. They were very patient through the process of designing, building and finishing my home. It is a custom built, beautiful home that I want to keep forever! Everyone who walks into my home is blown away at how amazing it is from layout, finishes, color scheme and lighting. I got more than I was expecting and am forever grateful. If you want things done right and well, call AIP Construction!”

“We had a great experience working with Dennis Smothers. We had gotten quotes from a couple of different construction companies and we ultimately decided to go with Benchmark because of his competitive quote. Dennis was very responsive and was committed to making sure everything was done to our satisfaction. On those occasions when things didn't go according to plan, Dennis always made it right. We were very pleased with the work done on the main level (complete kitchen remodel/expansion, bath, hardwood floor installation, replacement of doors, sliding glass doors, 2 sets of stairs, incorporation of main level laundry center) and basement (re-configuring the bonus room to add a separate entrance to the laundry and to add a closet to the bonus room so it would count as a 5th bedroom rather than just a bonus room). We came in on budget and decided to move forward with expanding our master bath. We took down a wall that previously divided the bathroom and a closet to create a more spacious and elegant ensuite master bath. The home I (Lori) have lived in for 13 years feels like a new house, and my husband (John) and I are thoroughly enjoying it. This renovation achieved our goals and exceeded our expectations. We plan to hire Dennis to do at least one additional project (decking) in the coming months. Our remodel was featured in a local magazine called "Discover" (published by Partners By Design), and the photographer who photographed the kitchen (Michael Callahan) got some GREAT shots of the finished remodel which you can see here (http://discoverstclair.com/st-clair-living/renovations-by-the-water/) or you see the amazing print version starting on page 42 (http://issuu.com/discoverstclair/docs/discover_st_clair_aug_2013).”

“Kyle & the guys (Kevin, Jeremy, Jim, and Patrick) and the rest of the Murphy Homebuilders crew are excellent to work for, build quality homes, use quality subcontractors, and custom build beautiful homes and have as long as I've been in business. They keep quite a bit going and still do a good job and Kyle is the treasurer for the Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders and gives a great deal back to the community through Habitat for Humanity & other charities. I recommend Kyle to anyone looking o build or looking to buy a home Kyle built. He knows his stuff & builds a beautiful home with a lot of amenities most builders don't think about.”

“Michael Jacobson helped me with a complicated set of problems when I purchased an older home. To move in to a livable dwelling, a lot was required to get the very old wet basement into good shape, as well as significant upgrades and repairs to existing plumbing and air systems. This involved a variety of workers across several trades, skills, and professions including masonry, landscaping, plumbing, and heating/air. Michael knew all the right people to do good work for affordable prices. He followed up when necessary on a long list of tasks. I recommend Michael as a contractor for tough jobs involving many different elements and a tight budget.”
