“I have used Carbide Construction over the years for various house projects and am always pleased with their level of professionalism, knowledge and skill of their trade and their positive attitudes. I have used them for kitchen renovations, water damage ceiling and window casings, flooring and most recently a renovation to our 1/2 bath. The company is owned by three brothers are were born and raised in Springfield, VA. David Gigliotti is very knowledgeable, creative in his ideas and thorough with explaining the processes and costs.”

The realtor mentioned that the builder, Park Bradley Homes was constructing a new home in the neighborhood we were interested in. We made an appointment to view the home which was about 60% complete. We loved the location, design and open floor plans. We cut a deal and worked closely with Park Bradley Homes picking out the lighting, fixtures and making minor modifications. They were great to work with, and I highly recommend them.”

“When searching for a company to remodel our kitchen, we turned to friends and neighbors for guidance. Because we were new to the area, we were relying solely on the recommendation of others to provide us with a few contractors to interview. Two of the three people we asked provided us with the contact info for MP Constriction & Excavation. Imagine my surprise when two people who did not know each other both had great things to say about this company. When I called MP, I was greeted with a friendly voice who took the time to understand our needs without a pushy sales pitch. I invited Matt (the owner) to our home to further discuss our project. To my surprise, he even presented me with various options that ended up saving us money on our kitchen remodel. We could not be happier with our experience with MP Construction. We retained Kevin and his team to demolish a waterfront cottage and rebuild on the same footprint as required by county building restrictions. Kevin worked with us through the permitting process to ensure building and environmental requirements were met. We obtained our plan from the Internet before finding Kevin and were not using an architect for the project. From our first meeting, Kevin was sensitive to our budget needs and provided insightful design suggestions to enhance our project. Kevin has been a pleasure to work with. The open-book contract has made it easy to evaluate the many decision trade offs of the new construction process, and keep us on budget.”
