“Building a custom home can be quite overwhelming...so we were told! Decisions are endless and opinions change through the process. Our experience of building our first custom home was SO much better than what we had anticipated based on the horror stories you often hear of! Genuine Custom Homes was with us each and every step of the way and Karl was amazing to work with!!! His organization skills speak volumes for themselves. We were constantly kept in the loop of what the current status was and what we could expect to come and it was so nice to know that we had someone supervising our project who cared about our home just as much as we did! Karl was always in contact with us and set up appointments for us with his chosen professionals who already knew about our style before we even arrived to meet with them to discuss specifics. We were involved in the entire process and when we were not immediately available we had the confidence that Karl knew our goals and style well enough to make things happen as we would have them. “Very good team, bathroom and kitchen renovations. Bathrooms were re-tiled and cabinetry replaced; kitchen was renovated, complete demo and rebuild. Installed stranded bamboo flooring, redid plumbing (toilets included). Recessed lighting installation. Workers are very clean and removed all trash daily during demolition; trustworthily crew; conscientious and reasonable. Workers are punctual, helpful and have a great attitude which makes the difference in every aspect of the job.”

“After 34 years of marriage and many moves we were finally ready to put down roots and build our forever home and we are so happy that Troy and Lisa Parker agreed to partner with us on this project! They were an absolute pleasure to work with- responsive, professional and organized. They have a good working relationship with their high quality and reputable subcontractors and there is a commitment to excellence throughout the building process. Both Troy and Lisa were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The sheer volume of details/decisions that go into building a custom home can be overwhelming to say the least, but Troy and Lisa are always calm and focused- you know you are in good hands. Our house had a number of challenging custom features, e.g., old doors, custom vent hood, reclaimed beams, vintage beadboard wall- Troy and Lisa worked closely with us always going the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the end result. “I am a contractor that does a lot of custom home builders, Some builders are tougher to work with than others and some builders don't pay bills. Dale is a builder that gets my respect. He is tough, but when rightfully so. He pays his bills on time and we never have to chase him and we have to chase a lot of builders. I can tell also what kind of quality goes into homes depending on the contractors the builders hire. some are pretty bad and I've seen some bad things, but Dale uses some good vendors.”

“I was referred to Rhino Design Build by a long-time friend, and the job was to restore a masonry store front that had been damaged by a vehicle. Danny produced a common-sense solution that should have produced a rapid completion. The City of San Antonio required extra professional evaluations and modernization that was beyond the repairs and involved extra costs. He dealt with these extra requirements and the job was completed in a reasonable time, even with the extra work and extra specialty reports that the City required. I was pleased with the jobs performed. The property was in escrow to be sold when this happened, and no problems resulted.”
