She warned us about timing, she fully respected our design choices, she used excellent subcontractors (and when one fell a bit short, she negotiated a satisfactory outcome) and she gave us plenty of warning on when things would happen and how long they would take. In retrospect, I had no idea about how many moving pieces there were to a project, how much scheduling of so many people was involved, or how unanticipated adjustments had to be made without disrupting the work flow.
