His creative ideas regarding passive solar heating meshed right in with my less-educated desires. The end result is an Energy Star certified home with passive solar heating and active solar water heating .... and it looks good too!!!!”

“This past summer we decided to remodel our kitchen using the existing footprint to reduce costs. We were going to do the project design ourselves, but heard about JDS through local contractors and decided to retain Joe Duket based on what we heard about his work. We are very glad we did. Joe was far more creative not only with products but with space and design. He envisioned things we did not, from electrical and plumbing fixtures to cabinets and countertops and were able to see everything before it was done using his computerized model. Highly recommended!”

“Wanted to build our basement out so we contacted three local companies for estimates and quotes. Quartz homes stood out and made it a very easy choice for us, very professional, explained what they would do and how they would go about it. They made us feel very comfortable in hiring them. “Kristina and Jeff helped us update and furnish a newly purchased cabin and get it ready to go on the STR market. They did fantastic work and we are so happy with the cabin. They were on time and on budget. The cabin is now a very successful STR. We had to manage this project long distance and Kristina and Jeff are so dependable, trustworthy and willing to do whatever is necessary to successfully complete the project. I highly recommend this business and we will definitely use them again for any projects we have in the future.”

“Spratt has performed several renovations for us (we have remodeled parts of our house as we were able to afford). Jobs included building new bathrooms, moving walls, installing walls indoor and outdoor, installation of flooring, roofing, and painting. The quality is superior. The staff (workers) were great - competent, friendly, arrived on time and on the scheduled days. Jobs were completed on time and on budget. I have recommended Spratt to several friends. Spratt also cleaned, repaired, and remodeled a condominium we purchased in the Woodlands.”

“I worked with this company over a few months looking for a 2nd home that I could also rent out. I shopped around for an agent over a couple of weeks and stumbled upon Joe Folsom in Ellijay. From the start, Joe was extremely friendly, and helpful. He asked the right questions, and then over a 6 month period showed me all the different types of properties that I requested. Joe was very patient and provided me with all the information I needed to make a great purchase. He was not pushy or aggressive like other agents. “Bill and his crew where great to work with and always available when I needed to communicate with them. My job required more repair work that originally anticipated but Barber Homes replaced all the rotten wood so I will never have to worry about later issues. They made suggestions on my bath and living room remodel that where right in line with what I wanted and the finished product looks fantastic.”
