“Matt knows his craft, not only is he a general contactor, he knows every aspect of construction from framing to electrical to finish work. To date he has: 1. Put in a skylight 2. Replaced cartper with wood floors throughout the house 3. Added french doors where only one doorway existed 4. Installed an insert into an existing fireplace 5. Replaced the deck 5. And even removed and installed a very difficult pool light His crew is professional and his prices are reasonable. Very Impressed and highly recommended.”

“This was a residential renovation of and addition to an older house with good bones that had not been well maintained and had been subjected to several DIY projects that appeared to be beyond the capabilities of those who did them. Kurt's design solutions both suited our taste and were consistent with the original style and design of the house. In particular, he suggested a limited number of minor touches (pass throughs, moving a dividing wall) that quite cost effectively opened up the house and made it much more livable, but also was true to its original design and incorporated its positive features. His design of the new and expand master suite used existing elements to create a vastly improved layout. Kurt offered solutions that enabled us to obtain quick permitting. He supervised construction which was significantly closer to budget and on schedule than other neighborhood projects. He was very responsive when field conditions required adaptations to original plans, and devised solutions that kept costs increases of the project reasonable. He was a pleasure to work with and made what is often a very stressful process a very positive experience.”

Our newly-painted home looks better than it ever has, its "bones are strong" once again, and our new bathroom is stunning! The attention to small details is, indeed, much-appreciated. Rich was always available by phone/text, and everyone who entered our home was personable and polite. Luxera in Rocklin was more than fair on the price, and that's always a big one when it comes to construction projects. In short, we couldn't be more satisfied. “Being new to the area, I found Lovett Building by pure chance. I assumed I'd have to meet several contractors before finding a match. Not so! Ben Lovett can handle everything from design to digging, foundations to fancy, paint to plumbing. But beyond being a capable creative contractor, Mr. Lovett has ideas and vision. I was embarking on a total remodel of a shabby 1940's miners cabin, and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing! And yet, I knew a lot about how I wanted it to feel in the end. So I needed a very patient builder who was also an astute listener. And naturally, I also needed someone honest, hard working and communicative. Lovett Building met all these needs, in addition to all the basics: accountable, thorough, and stayed within budget and timeline. The process (1 year) was fun and interesting, and I am now living in my dream home. Could not be happier!”
