“I have been working with Jennifer from The Old Painted Cottage since 2011. I had been a faithful blog reader (http://theoldpaintedcottage.com/) and admirer of her style for a long time before getting the courage to contact her to see if she would agree to a design consultation to help me revamp my living room. My husband and I had recently moved into a 1960's ranch - that still looked like it was from the 1960s! I was so frustrated with trying to "design" my house on a budget and getting nowhere – I desperately wanted and needed help. I kind of knew what I wanted to do and the styles I admired, but I had no idea whatsoever how to create it on a realistic budget in my own home. I hired Jennifer to teach me how to beautify my living room. And oh boy - I cannot say enough about how absolutely wonderful it was (and has been since then) to work with Jennifer! After sending her the dimensions of my living area and images of living rooms I loved (many of them here on Houzz), we scheduled and had a phone consultation and OH.MY.GOSH! Jennifer's energy, excitement, ability to translate what I wanted to the redesign of my space - and all within my budget - was incredible! One of the most amazing things about Jennifer is that she patiently taught me many interior design secrets that I never knew but have since been able to apply to my whole home (e.g., hanging drapes higher than the top of the window, displaying décor items in threes, adding pops of complementary color, etc.) Needless to say, it is 2014 and Jennifer has let me hire her to design almost every room in my house! Since 2011, I’ve had two babies and she helped me design both nurseries. Jennifer also helped me revamp my master bedroom, TV room, and the sunroom! Currently, we are doing a whole house consult on a little lake cabin my husband and I recently purchased. Overall, Jennifer is a consummate professional, her fees are ridiculously reasonable, and she is able to “get into a space” and transform it simply by looking at before photos. Jennifer is a gem! I could go on and on about Jennifer…(and I hope to meet her in person one day soon!)”

“I hired DEZINE& for my home renovation in California. It was a great "bones" of a house that needed a new lift on life. We did everything from changing the pitch of the roof to installing new floors and everything in between. We also added solar by the recommendation of Daniel and are pleased with the impact on our electric bills. What Dan and DEZINE& did for our little valley home was stupendous. “Not only does Ava and Arlene have impeccable design taste. They will handle everything from the idea phase, to hiring the proper General Contractor, subs, over seeing the entire process and being present at the job site during the work. They did everything from A to Z. They made redecorating my home a simple breeze. From providing me my options and giving me the pros and cons of each option with various cost estimates made it easy for me to make a comfortable informed decision on every step of the process. They are extremely flexible with their service. Their contractors are also professional and very neat. They clean up after every job and make the process very convenient. The outcome turned out better than I expected and I am a very satisfied customer.”

“Gin arranged the staging of our home for sale and was highly recommended by our real estate agent. She is a true professional and very easy to work with. She sat with us and discussed our home and the budget required for staging. She educated us on the difference between staging and interior design and was very generous with both her time and expertise. At no stage did we ever feel obligated to exceed the budget or feel stressed with the time requirements. We were impressed with her album of other houses she staged and also the wide variety of her interior design and organization work. We would not hesitate to recommend her and plan on working with her again for some design help in our new home. I know that it's hard to find a professional you can trust or even believe some reviews but, and here is the icing on the cake: our home sold in 6 days and the new owner wanted to buy all our furniture and design elements that were used for staging. We could not have been happier with our experience with Gin and we are happy to recommend her to you.”
