Right now we are in the middle of remodeling the kitchen. What I appreciate about Denise is that we work as a team. She gets me and my style. “My husband and I bought a new home in a new state. It was more sqft than we had ever thought we would own. After the purchase was complete we hired a contractor to do a kitchen remodel and we realized there was more to be done to the house than we had originally thought and though I had an idea of what I wanted I was feeling major decision fatigue. That's when I called Andrea. She was an absolute life saver. She asked for samples of what we were sure of, asked to be linked to my pinterest boards and we had a quick meeting to go over the things I was stuck on. Our next meeting she not only picked out the 4 things (the whole house paint color, a bedroom paint color, first floor flooring & backsplash) I had asked her to but she also walked me through other pieces that we hadn't thought of like lighting fixtures, hardware for the kitchen, a kitchen faucet, a sink and stain for the wood banister that would help complete the look we were going for. She supported my color choice and want for very bold kitchen cabinet colors and picked a backsplash and flooring that paired incredibly well. She talked out every concern with me and was a gentle guiding hand as we discussed where and how to carry the theme through the house. We hadn't discussed countertops too much but when it came time to pick those for my kitchen she was there for me to talk to and again gently guided me to tops that worked perfectly with the aesthetic. I do not know what I would have done without her help. And she did it all without having been inside the new house!! We hope to use her again when we can afford to a bathroom remodel! I would recommend Authentik Home to anyone looking to refresh or remodel their space.”

Lisa was able to supply us design concepts that worked perfect for the project. Once we finalized the design Lisa supplied detailed drawings and 3D renderings of the finished project.The finished job exceeds our wildest dreams and most of all it went very smoothly.”

“I met Donna through our contractor, who was doing a full renovation of our new home. We had planned a holiday/house warming party for about 80 people, and it was a race against the clock to have our renovations finished for the big night. Although the new floor tiles looked great, and the wall paint colors too; what was missing was that extra something pulling it all together. We had some old furniture, some new, art for the walls, a beautiful new built-in library, but we had no idea how to place the books, where to hang the art....basically our new home needed something to tie it all together. It needed Donna, said our contractor: "She can make your house feel like a home. She will tie it all together and she will listen to your budget!" And she did! She and her assistant reviewed the house, made notes and took measurements, and then they were off and running! The week flew by and she worked her magic- bringing in plants, hanging up pictures, moving tables, adding tables, taking away tables. It was a blur seeing her running around with her creativity flowing. At the end, the warmth and creative touches she made to our home was absolutely perfect. She stayed in our budget and really made the house feel like our home. That was in December and we have continued to hire her for different projects. She just blew us away by redoing all our outdoor space: overseeing the painters and landscapers, and adding finishing touches here and there. She picked amazing patterns and fabrics for our outdoor cushions. Donna is fantastic to work with because she is highly organized, calm, honest, dependable, and she truly understands the home owners’ style. An added perk is that Donna is a dog lover (we have a lab that jumps all over her- working on that!) and has a great sense of humor. She continues to wow me with her designs, and I couldn't imagine decorating my home or office without her expertise.”
