“Elaine was a delight to work with. She was very responsive which was such a nice surprise when working with a contractor. She remodeled our kitchen, living room, and bathroom. I have champagne taste and a beer budget. Elaine was communicative, found great substitutes that were in our price range, and gave us a lot of choices. Any issues we have had she immediately responds and coordinates a solution within 24 hrs. Her team was really pleasant to work with.”

“We have been thinking about an addition to our house for over 8 years. We felt stuck and unable to proceed with plans because we could not make the floor plan "come alive". We could see walls and dimensions but the space lacked flow or vision. Silverwood Home Designs fixed that for us! Nikki was able to listen to our must haves and our big wishes and create a space that feels like home. We were referred to Silverwood Home Designs and are extremely pleased with the results of our new plan. We are a family of 4 which includes 2 small children (and a dog). Nikki was able to incorporate our current needs while also focusing on how we will want our house to grow alongside the children. She utilized the space appropriately and functionally keeping in mind storage and lighting. During the presentation of her plans, we were blown away how she was able to offer more than we had ever imagined. The best part, she made minimal impact to restructure the space and include everything on our wish list (and more!) I will recommend Nikki and Silverwood Home Designs to anyone looking to Remodel, Renovate or Design any part of their living space. “Working with Carly was fun as her ideas for tile in my bathrooms, foyer and kitchen created a look that brought joy to the finished project. Carley introduced me to different tiles that gave depth to my backsplash in the kitchen and color to the niche in my bathroom walk-in shower. Carley’s recommendations for every room in the house were used and it’s amazing how it all came together. I couldn’t be happier with the end result…..wouldn’t change a thing”

“We began working with Leah in February 2011. It is always a pleasure to work with Leah. She helped us with several projects and we trust her advice. Leah helped us redo our bedroom. First she helped us choose curtains, then Leah picked out the perfect paint colors for our bedroom, closet and bathroom. Next she built the rest of the room around the colors in the curtains, adding other patterns that coordinated with the curtains. Leah helped us choose furniture, lamps, and a rug that were appropriate for the room. Leah also helped us update our kitchen. She assisted us in selecting quartz countertops and a subway tile back-splash. Leah also helped us reframe and place pictures in our home. She is now guiding us with furnishing our new porch. We look forward to working with Leah on this and future projects because she has an understanding of use, space, and size, and color. We appreciate that she listens to our concerns and preferences. “Sue is an amazingly talented, creative designer and project manager. We first worked together at our manhattan office when whe transformed a receptionists' area into a small conference room. She thinks out of the box and created a beautiful, useable space that has changed the entrance to our office suite. I found Sue to be such a pleasant, easy going and lovely person with whom to work that I asked her to work on some rooms in our home. She reimagined my home office which always felt cramped and gloomy into an open, modern room which is now our favorite space in the house. We are continuing to work together on updating and modernizing additional rooms. Sue is the best designer and I highly recommend her!”

“Amy Woolf is not only a skilled color consultant, she is an awesome all round decorator. I first hired Amy to help me with wall and carpet colors for the basement space we were turning into a den/media room. She not only helped me pick colors for these, but ended up helping me pick out just the right couch to bring the whole room together. To this day, whenever people see the room I hear some variation of the statement, “I really like the colors you picked!” Next Amy helped me with the dining area in my townhouse. Since the dining area is part of a large room that includes the kitchen and living room, there was a lot to coordinate with. Amy had a way of asking me the kinds of questions that helped me understand my own design preferences and gave me the ability to narrow down what colors, textures, and styles would look best. The result was a room that is both highly functional and beautiful. I would hire Amy again in a heartbeat for any design project, large or small!”
