Armada Design & Build

Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsApril 13, 2015
“Armada Design & Build handled the remodel of our office space. They were punctual, professional and extremely proficient. They have a quality work ethic and execute contracts and deadlines in a timely fashion. We had a small window from the time we relocated until our doors opened. They, not only, completed the job with an exceptional level of charisma, tenacity and zeal but with excellent customer service. They set a good standard for construction companies regarding attention to detail and communication. Would recommend and will be contacting them again soon.”

“Meredith was a fabulous designer- she made our ideas better. She respectfully told us when she thought our ideas wouldn't work over time and always gave us several options to choose from, while keeping our budget in mind. I have recommended her to several of my friends who have also been happy with her work, and I have used her on more than one remodeling job. She is a pleasure to work with!”
Brian David Roberts | Interior Planning & Design

“After much searching and disappointment trying to find an interior designer, we found Brian and believe we hit gold. We hired Brian to redesign our existing kitchen and master bath. Neither of us had ever remodelled a house. We had an idea of how we wanted the areas to feel but didn't know how to make it happen. Brian asked the right questions about our family to come up with a number of different options on how we can make the best use of our spaces. He really thought of everything when it came to functionality especially for the kitchen; for us, our kitchen really is the heart of the home and not just somewhere to eat. We believe the final product that was provided will help make the remodelling process as economical and smooth as possible. Brian was easily accessible during his design process and afterward asking us the status of our project.”

“Lila is amazing! She was able to understand our requirements and taste very quickly. She truly owned our project and drove it like a champ. At the same time, she was a team player and took all our feedback and wish lists. She was passionate and went beyond her scope to deliver. I would recommend her to anyone looking to design and creat/remodel a home space.”
Phinney Ridge Cabinet Company

Average rating: 4 out of 5 starsJanuary 31, 2013
“Tim designed our kitchen. It turned out much more efficient, looking beautiful, and with more storage than our previous older 1940's kitchen. I liked several of his suggestions, one example is the sink he recommended; I love. I also liked his idea of putting pots and pans in a drawer next to the stove. Never thought I'd like that but I really do. It works. When he heard that I was not happy with the counter-top, he pro-actively called the company to get it fixed. Overall, I think Phinney Ridge Cabinets provides great service.”

“We worked with Trisha as we prepped our family home for sale. We had lived there 20+ years and had never remodeled the 2.5 bathrooms. Trisha was very easy to work with. She understood and worked within our budget goals and guided us to contemporary/current color and material choices. We loved our finished product and know it help us sell our home within 5 days of going on the market, and over our asking price! We recommend her highly.”

“Working with Molly and Clive is an experience that will leave you not only with a more beautiful space, but also a deeper knowledge of design, environmental principles, and just generally how to make choices for better living. They are conscientious, thoroughly hardworking, and committed to their clients. Thanks to the expertise and creativity of A Kitchen That Works, we were able to turn a completely dysfunctional space into a glorious bathroom retreat. They respected our priorities and budget while giving us professionally managed advice and choices. The finished bathroom is amazing. For days after the project was complete, I kept opening the bathroom door and peeking in to see if it was really still there - I just can't believe it's our same space.”

Candace Nordquist Interiors
Mudroom Designers in Seattle
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsJune 28, 2013
“Candace Nordquist is a Certified Kitchen design professional. She transformed our kitchen, seating area, family room, and entry into beautiful, highly functional, and comfortable spaces. She provided the design, material selection, coordination or purchase of materials, and recommended highly capable subcontractors I used to finish the project. Our waterfront house needed to have the view maintained or enhanced, the materials and colors needed to be capable of intense direct sunlight, and the traffic flow from the kitchen to the deck supported. She reorganized the kitchen placing flat surfaces between the arriving guest and the view. The tall elements were concentrated on the back wall giving a solid welcoming feel. Her 38" high waterfall granite table provides seating to enjoy the view. There are 28 cabinet drawers for storage, and the food prep, cooking, and clean up areas are all well organized. The electrical plan was also an integral part of the overall design. The under cabinet power outlets are especially nice and have minimized wall outlets. The lighting is able to be changed to create a variety of moods as well as provide specific task lighting. It is a pleasure to cook and entertain in this kitchen.”
