“Nate and his crew are fantastic! They transformed our miss-matched, messy, unsafe retaining walls and landscaping into a streamlined, structurally-sound, beautiful feature of our home. “I’ve had the distinct pleasure of meeting Karen and her staff on a Madison landscape restoration project. I was surprised that Samara Design hasn’t had any reviews on Houzz yet as her work is fantastic. As such, I am sharing my thoughts as a landscape designer/contractor. Although we’ve only worked along side each other on one project site, Karen’s sensitivity to clients wishes and the land is readily apparent. She’s easy to talk to and has none of the arrogance often found with designer-types. Her design is thoughtfully composed and is fitting to the home and site. She seems to understand innately how the site will evolve over time and is planning several steps ahead. Her work displays a subtlety and nuance that can rarely be found. Karen really is elevating the art-form. I was so impressed with Karen and her gardening staff that I have recommended them for several gardening projects that my business was too busy to complete. “Crimson Valley Landscaping did a extensive landscaping job on our backyard last summer. They worked on the pool entry area and the area that curves around our home. They also laid down river rocks in our planters and put down stepping stones across the yard. The entire crew was very professional, accommodating and efficient. Although, Joel and Dawn really stood out to me. Joel was able to transplant beautiful roses and added flowers to the area around our mailbox that pleasantly surprised us. Dawn worked with us on the design and functionality of our space. She was extremely accommodating and gave wonderful suggestions. In fact, there were times that I would send her pictures of designs and flowers I didn't even know the name of and she figured out how we can incorporate them into the design! She had no problem changing our orders after they had been placed and still managed to get the work done on time. I could tell she genuinely cared for us and wanted us to have the best possible experience. After the work was finished Dawn came back to check out how the space was holding up. She noticed that our roses were wilting a bit, and went out and pruned them for us! She even gave me instructions on how to maintain them over the winter! Even now, almost a year later I am still ecstatic with the results. I am always happy when I have the opportunity to recommend them to my friends and family. Thanks again Crimson Valley Landscaping!”
