Bob Jones has been highly creative in remedying our water erosion problems and beautifying our property at the same time. In addition to landscaping, his team has installed a gorgeous maintennance free deck as well as maintennance free railings on our covered front porch. Bob's knowledge of Carroll County's native plants, have added to the enjoyment of our landscape. The team arrives on time, works steadily to complete the project, and does a wonderful and thorough job cleaning up when they leave for the day. We have happily recommended Carroll Landscaping to friends and neighbors since 1994.”

“We contacted Pinehurst Landscaping Company about six months ago because we wanted to renovate previous landscaping that had been done after our home was built. Despite hiring a professional landscaping company, the trees and bushes that they planted were either too large or too small for the area. Instead of accentuating our new home, the landscaping interfered with the architecture of the house resulting in diminished curb appeal. You can imagine that it was with some trepidation when looking for another landscaping company. However, we had read prior positive reviews about Pinehurst Landscaping and decided to give them a try. Once we called we were immediately connected to Ted Carter who specializes in residential design. We explained our issues and what we were looking for. We scheduled a time that Ted would come and assess our landscaping. Ted sat down with us after surveying our plantings and pointed out the errors in the trees and other plantings that were chosen. After careful deliberation, Ted came up with a plan that fit our landscaping area. He chose plants and trees based on color, size, texture, and fragrance. Even if we didn’t care for a particular choice he had a backup suggestion. After we finalized our plan, we met him at the nursery where we were able to pick out our trees and shrubs. However, the true test was the end result. Ted and his crew arrived on time and completed the job in the time frame he had cited. We were thrilled with the end result. We received many compliments from our neighbors and guests and recommended Pinehurst without hesitation. The cost was reasonable and the quality of work was superb. I was also very impressed that Justin tried to use plants that were already there rather than proposing that we replace everything. Even when I said I'd be willing to pull something out and replace it, he found a way to salvage it and integrate it into the plan.”

“We worked with Aaron Raines with Live Green Landscapes to build a 50' long dry stack bluestone wall with evergreen plantings to screen our house from our neighbor's driveway. After receiving multiple bids, Live Green was not the lowest (never go with the low bid) but was middle of the road. They did a phenomenal job with the construction as well as sending updated construction photos as they were completing the work while we were on vacation. The plantings they provided have flourished and we have received numerous compliments on the quality and appearance of the overall product. Aaron has always made himself accessible if we have questions and we would definitely highly recommend Live Green Landscaping to others.”

“Artistry, expertise, and attention to detail are the first words that come to mind. Tim and Garrett created a design that resulted in a spectacular outdoor living space, which far exceeded our expectations and has become an extension of our home. They were very thoughtful, taking into consideration our style and requests. Their extensive knowledge of stonework, plants and especially native plants, as well as our wishes for color, texture, and natural setting created a living space that looks like it has always been there. The whole crew, Tim, Garrett, Mike, and Luke are true artisans as their work was creative, yet meticulous. They took their time, making sure every stone was laid exactly right to achieve the final look they wanted. The plants were also placed with purpose. They were very professional and respectful of our property and were wonderful to have working at our home. Even with rainy days, the project was completed within the expected timeline and came slightly under budget. They communicated throughout the process concerning ideas and cost. I highly recommend them, as it is a privilege to have the result of their artistry!”
