“Timeline Design designed and build our 6,000 sq ft house. They took our ideas and made them better. As the project progressed they improved the design and solved problems as the reality of the construction unveiled ways to make it better or address issues. This was done as a matter of course, not as a way to jack up the price through change orders. Most of these changes did, in fact, not change the price. Some did require extra or different materials or effort but these only added T&M charges. We are still delighted with our house 7 years after it was completed. Timeline Design still sends people out to fix or address any issues we have as they arise. Timeline Design is an honest, committed and talented designer/builder. I can't recommend them high enough!”

“I will forever look back on my home reconstruction in two periods, the before and after Lynde. Before Lynde, I was stressed and overwhelmed trying to coordinate all the finishes on our rebuild. After Lynde, I was able to see a vision for our new home in terms of color and finishes, and all the worry over whether or not I was choosing the right thing finally subsided. Lynde shopped with me and helped me select tile, flooring, vanities, countertops, and hardware. She understood the limitations of my budget, but without making it a limiting factor. She has a great aesthetic, both timeless and elegant, and her color sense is on point. While working with her, I even learned how to pick up on the undertones behind colors--something I'd never noticed before. She helped us select all our paint colors for both inside and outside our home, and I am complimented on our colors every time someone comes over. And best of all, she is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is easy to talk to, warm, and kind. I joked that she should call herself a construction-counselor because she does such a great job putting her clients at ease. And her reasonable hourly rates make it easy to bring her on for smaller projects, too. I am looking forward to working with her on selecting my furniture. I love having the security of knowing that when I invest in pieces for my home, they are all going to come together under Lynde's guidance. My only regret is not meeting her sooner!”

They listen to you and your needs, no matter your budget they will work with you and they will never make you feel that you are not an important client. “I was introduced to Bess through a previous Designer I worked with who was retiring her business. She felt Bess would be a good fit for me and my job, and I knew from our first meeting she was right. Bess and her Studio 3 team came on the job when we completed the basic house conceptual plan. Her input and ideas only further enhanced the function of the floor plan. As well, her knowledge, expertise and practical approach has been so valuable especially as this is my first major house remodel. I have quickly found how easy it is to keep expanding the plan as well as the budget! She does a great job keeping me on track and realistic, which my husband appreciates! Bess has guided us through our Phase 1 of the crazy permit process for an in law quarters and is now assisting with our phase 2, the rest of the house., all the while setting expectations of how to work with the city. She is also great when working with your personal choice of contractors, although she provides her own top notch referrals. Her team is friendly and responsive. We still have a ways to go, but she is willing to work with you on what services you need in regards to your budget, which I appreciate. I've been in Real Estate for 13 years, and one thing I've learned is when you find great vendors, partner with them, keep using them and refer them! I've referred Studio 3 to two people / clients with different styles and both have been thrilled to work with her. I would highly recommend you give Studio 3 and Bess a call for your next large or smaller project!”

“My husband and I are remodeling both of our bathrooms, and want to open up our kitchen area so it works better with the layout of our house. Marcus has been working with us and he's been fantastic. Even though it is just a remodel, he's given us so many great ideas to tie the whole house together, as well as help us understand what is worth spending money on for the long run, and where we could save. He's making the process really fun and exciting, and I can't wait to live in a house that is finally well designed and perfectly us. Also, he lives is San Luis Obispo, CA and we live in Santa Cruz, which I thought might be a problem when it came down to meeting one on one, but he was very flexible and has been shooting up to meet with us multiple times bringing beautiful sketches of ideas, or examples of materials for us to look at. I hightly recommend him for big or small projects. He's truely a professional.”

“Working with Jen was the second best decision I made this year. The first was adopting a dog, which nothing can compare to (to be fair). It’s hard to express how wonderful it was to work with Jen. She redesigned my home to be more comfortable and inspiring than I could have imagined. I’ve lived in my apartment for six years, but it hasn’t felt like the home I’ve wanted until now. Jen helped me to realize what I wanted, and transformed my place from a bachelor pad to a lovely space for hosting friends and creating shared memories. She understood my aesthetic better than I understood it myself (warm, natural colors, wood, classic, masculine). She provided a range of options within, below, and slightly above my budget. She took care of everything from ordering to tracking to installation. Most important, she became a friend. She is such a lovely and supportive person. She genuinely cared and poured her heart into the work. Every guest I’ve hosted in the month since Jen completed the redesign has expressed their love for space, unprompted. Jen helped me to create, and then to realize a vision for my home: the place I work, dream, fall in love, and heal from heartbreak. My one regret is that I didn’t work with Jen sooner to create the home I always wanted. I would work with her again in a heartbeat, and I plan to in the future.”
