“We first selected Uhrich Design for their awesome space planning and interior finish abilities. They transformed our cramped, outdated 1940's bungalow kitchen into a spacious state-of-the-art 2015 epicurean dream, while keeping the style of the home intact. We were so impressed with the expertise at Uhrich Design, we hired them again to remodel and expand our master bedroom/bath by 240sf. Larry's professional design practice along with his access to great contractors, subs, and vendors, made what could have been a miserable experience, into a professional project that was on time and on budget! I highly recommend Uhrich Design for your interior design needs. Uhrich Design is the team to hire for any design needs! My wife and I have worked with Uhrich Design for many years on various projects. Most recently, working with them on the remodel of our kitchen in 2015, then again on an 200sf addition/remodel of a master bedroom/bath in 2016. Larry, along with his wife Anna, make a great team that listens to our dreams, creates unique design ideas, and provides excellent vendors all within our budget. “After interviewing 10 other contractors, I meet with Chris Crosby regarding my project. He was honest, professional, more than fair on his prices and told me the good AND the bad. “I hired CEDB to do a complete remodel on my kitchen. I have nothing but high marks to say about Susan. She is excellent in her communication; very prompt. She is very capable to handle all the decisions for a project if that's what someone wanted but she is also happy to collaborate and incorporate the owner's ideas. She has a great rapport with the sub-contractors and works with them often which results in high quality work in a timely manner and the finish work actually gets completed! Compared to when I acted as the contractor for a previous kitchen remodel i can say that hiring CEDB made it so much easier.”

After our house burned down in the wild fires, Justin helped us move along ( as we still only had a vague idea of what we wanted but we knew we wanted to move back quick) and designed a house that fits our property and fits our living style with extra suites for when our sun & daughter visit. “Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

“Pete Lugo, working with Kinetic Partners, used his creative architectural expertise to design a warm yet contemporary Italian farmhouse for us by carefully listening to our ideas and thoughts, which were totally unique to the traditional Tuscan style. We met once and provided pictures and ideas of floor plans and he listened carefully to ensure we incorporated our personal needs and desired. Although the we expected the process to take quite some time, we were shocked when he came back the first time with an architectural plan of our dreams. He was open to new materials and concepts, varying ceiling heighths, and ensuring the plan would allow us to live comfortsbly, including grandchildren and dogs! We are now on the current cover of Luxery Home Magazine.”

“Vivian Khoury of Khoury Design assisted us in designing our master bathroom and closet. She listened to our "wants" and ideas and incorporated them into her design. She was there at the beginning until the project was completed, and always available whenever needed. Lucky for us too, because no detail went unnoticed...she was on top of everything. Now that the project is complete and we are using the master bathroom and closet, there is nothing we would change! For the time she spent on our project, her fees were more than fair. She is very easy to work with and we feel fortunate to have selected her.”

““When we first began the process of starting over with our dated, 70s kitchen, we knew it would take more than looking at a handful of home magazines to figure out what would work. Enter Steve – who saw the potential for our medium-sized space, and suggested things we didn’t consider. That’s why you hire a designer; he has the expertise to know how to configure a space based on how it will be used. From the materials to the cabinets, to recommendations for appliances, Steve was able to help us execute the vision we had for the kitchen into two other rooms. Given a choice between ‘making due’ with an inefficient existing layout, and going the extra mile to transform it into the heart of the house, we didn’t hesitate. It was worth the effort!”
