The main factors I needed addressed were cost concerns while keeping the best design and functionality for resale. “Vani recently architected a 500sq ft remodel + addition project on our house. When we started, we had a very rough idea of the project. Not dismissing any of our inputs, Vani expertly encapsulated them with her own and came up with an impressive design. In just a few meetings, we had the final design ready. A stickler for perfection that she is, her drawings were very clear and detailed and have received compliments from almost every contractor we sent them to. What really drew us to her is her work-ethics. She promptly attends and returns calls and requires zero follow-up. She keeps you well-updated on the progress at every stage. She goes beyond doing just her homework, works closely with other engineers and ensures there are no delays and permit is pulled right on time. She has also worked with multiple contractors and has a good understanding of the industry and has given us expert advice every time we were in need of it. “Amparo designed my kitchen and my bathroom. I love both rooms. I tell everyone that I could not have done it without her and it is true! Both rooms are small and so it was a challenge to find materials that fit and did not create cramped spaces. There was no room for mistakes and Amparo did not make any mistakes. Amparo always sees the best solution to any design problem immediately; it is not a process of trial and error with her. “Olesia and her team have done a fabulous job shepherding our ADU through the byzantine San Mateo County bureaucracy. I can pay no greater compliment than to say when we build our second ADU, we are completely confident in Olesia's process. Cannot recommend highly enough. If you are in a tight spot or are considering applying for an ADU, please do yourself a favor and reach out. Despite what people say, ADUs are mini houses. Permitting, intent to the code, property compliance, site plans, environmental hazards, nimby's, utilities, general bureaucracy, on and on it goes. You get the full force of compliance despite the size and perception ADUs are given. Speaking for our situation, we were totally unprepared as white collar homeowners figuring out how to get this ADU built. Olesia will fill in that gap, at a very very competitive rate. Unless you or someone you know has this process completely down, I would lean towards admitting that you need help. Olesia provides a clean and efficient edge to getting your project to being finaled.”
