“David Jobe didn't know me when I first called him. He patiently listened to what I wanted (a 3D rendering to show perspective buyers (which wasn't built at the time, just blueprints)) and came up with a dimension of my house showing it at it's best possible angle. I have big mountains as my view, and he was able to capture that as well. At 2nd phone meeting, (the next day) I was able to get the color and some landscape put in. It is truly an "artist's" rendering. Very easy to work with.....and "gets it" the first time. Doesn't drag you out of budget. Wish him much success.”

“When we started our remodel project I began asking everyone who was building or remodeling who they recommended to design the remodel. One said everyone uses "X", so I spoke to "X". Wasn't totally happy but figured everyone knew what they were talking about. Loved a new house I saw on a bike ride and so stopped and asked who designed their home. Turns out it wasn't a new home, but a remodel and they were thrilled with the work. Well they were now. They had started with another designer, been unhappy and changed to David. I was even more impressed when I found out that this was an add on because you couldn't tell it wasn't a fully and organically designed complete home. As I left the owners parting words were oh and I should tell you who the original person was we weren't happy with… You guessed it "X". During the design portion of our project I also stopped at a series of houses on a street nearby because they were each unique and I liked each one of them. They ranged from traditional mountain "cabin" to modern sustainable. The designer? They were all David's. What impressed me the most was the range of designs he does, the range of mediums (cedar, stucco, concrete), how happy all of his customers were, his academic background and how easy it was to work through together during the entire project as we changed our minds several times about things. If I were to design another remodel or house, I wouldn't bother to look for a different architect. He is both a great architect and a great person to work with. We have been totally pleased from beginning to end and love our new home.”
