David Wenchell Architects LLC
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Stamford
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsMarch 28, 2019
“Dave is a highly skilled architect with a deep knowledge of the style and structure of the building(s) he is asked to design and draft. Dave is easy to work with and has a keen sensitivity for his clients' tastes. He spends considerable time listening and understanding the "wants" of his clients and balancing the practicality and realistic options for construction. I would enthusiastically recommend him to anyone interested in designing and building a "house of one's dreams". You will not regret the time and effort he contributes to your project.”
John R. Schroeder, AIA
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Stamford
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsNovember 5, 2014
“John R. Schroeder, AIA, you have given us our dream home and by that I mean a home more beautiful than we could have imagined and yet completely suitable to our hectic everyday lives as a family with four young children. You listened to our random ideas and put them together into a design that is better than the sum of its parts and what's more, it was completed on schedule (I didn't think this ever happened!).”
Michael Lewis Architects PC
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Stamford
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsNovember 1, 2014
“Michael Lewis is a consummate designer with years of experience, talent, and organizational ability. We felt supported by Michael and his able firm throughout our project. There was a culture of sensitivity to our needs throughout the firm and skillful handling of issues as they inevitably cropped up. The firm worked with our century old house to bring it into the modern age, by retrofitting an amazing kitchen into limited space and converting an unusable attic space into a dream master bedroom suite with dormers, increasing our living space significantly. We highly recommend this firm!”
RJM Drafting and Designs
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Stamford
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsOctober 10, 2018
“I met Ralph through a mutual friend. While we have only collaborated on one project so far, the conversations and dialogue we have had will surely grow into more collaborations. I am a young Architect, so his years of design and construction experience are extremely welcomed and is already a great mentor for myself, while also meeting his clients expectations.”

Taeik Kim Architect PA

Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsApril 12, 2017
“I have worked with Taeik for nearly 7 years now on projects ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000. He and his organization are prompt, courteous and effective. Their plans work and they have the ability to develop on the fly in the field as well as in the studio. We have undertaken projects both Residential and commercial and they have never let us done. Its refreshing to know that there still are professionals who are dedicated to their work and care”

Hoover Architecture, PLLC
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Stamford
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsFebruary 12, 2013
“Kim Hoover designed our house. During the process, she continued to turn challenges into opportunities to improve the project. Working off an existing sub-optimal foundation, she created a plan to maximize a great view, nestle the house into the landscape, and turned what would have been a dreary basement into a sun-filled room. She worked well with clients -- always listening throughout the process -- and with builders and contractors. Kim takes responsibility for her work, is on time and on budget. Her aesthetic sense is classic but imaginative. She's resourceful about new products on the market as well as time-honored techniques to make a house a showplace. In each stage of the process, Kim added value. We cannot wait to work on another project with her.”
ROAM Architecture
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Stamford
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsNovember 16, 2013
“I hired ROAM Design to design an addition of a family room to my home. In doing so, I wanted to maximize the current space I had, add the room and update my kitchen to make the space family friendly, open and comfortable. In planning the addition, Amy met frequently with my husband and I to get an understanding of what we wanted. She offered suggestions and options, always mindful of our budget and preferences. Her drawings were detailed and thorough, which enabled us to visualize the addition and helped our contractor price the work for us. Amy was always available and responsive to our questions and needs. Her fee was fair and she was upfront and honest regarding all costs. My husband and I were extremely pleased with all aspects of the work ROAM Design did for us and would highly recommend them. Amy went beyond her responsibility as our architecture in communicating with our contractor and providing suggestions to us. She is very detail-oriented and the details she incorporated into our addition are what makes it so special. In addition to adding value to our home, we love our addition and the opportunities it has afforded my family as a place to comfortably relax, spend time together and entertain.”

“My home is one of the exhibits listed here. This architect was easy to work with and gave appropriate and timely advice when needed. She is currently working another project for me, a renovation of a Frank Lloyd Wright's apprentice work in the Berkshires.”
