Featured Reviews for Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Staten Island

Ying Li Architect
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Staten Island
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsMay 6, 2013
“Excellent architect with an eye for maximizing space, working around space constraints and creating great flow, especially in the main living area. She designed a major expansion for us and was very attentive to our needs and what we wanted out of the space. Whereas some architects are too focused on design at the expense of practical function, Ying found the perfect balance for us. She handled all the bathroom design elements so we didn't need a separate designer for that and she helped guide the kitchen design, which I think helped to make these important spaces more cohesive to the overall plan. She was especially good at a floor plan for a busy family with kids and a home that is designed for entertaining. I also appreciated that she was available for consultation throughout the renovation process and even collaborated with our contractor on key elements like spacing and materials to be sure everything was done right.”

Robie J. Wood Architect, LLC
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Staten Island
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsMay 14, 2012
“Robie is terrific. We interviewed quite a few architects for this job. Many had great ideas and beautiful plans though they were double our budget. Robie stuck to the budget and came up with lots of great ideas. He was very flexible and creative. We'd use him again in a heartbeat!!!! We love the result and the pictures posted don't do it justice!”
CBH Architects

Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsDecember 19, 2013
“I have on several occasions hired architects-designers, but Bob stands out head and shoulders above everyone. Bob listens carefully to your needs, and brings extensive expertise and creativity to his work. Bob created a new walk-in closet for us, and we ended up with a result that exceeded my vision for it — and well within budget.”
Primiano Architecture
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Staten Island
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsApril 29, 2020
“We hired Primiano Architecture to design an addition for our house. We had no experience dealing with an architect or doing a home improvement project of this magnitude. Primiano Architecture was recommended to us by an acquaintance. From our first meeting with Joe we knew he was the right person. He was honest, intelligent and most importantly he listened and made suggestions. It was a true partnership. Joe worked closely with us throughout design, township approval, choosing a contractor and final approval. We could not be any happier with how the project turned out. I would give Primiano Architecture 4 out 4 stars and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for an architect.”

Cheung Showman Architects
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Staten Island
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsJune 29, 2023
“We had an amazing experience working with Cheung Showman on redesigning our kitchen/living space. They worked quickly understanding that we had some very pressing decisions to make and were very professional. Our job was small but not so simple as we were working within the confines of an older tudor home that we were trying to maintain the character of while also opening the space a bit more. So thankful of their work and will definitely work with them again!!”
XYZ PLANS
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Staten Island
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsMarch 22, 2014
“I hired XYZ Plans to help me deal with my brownstone renovation in Park Slope. The scope of work included: installation of AC system, terrace door replacement, stoop metal railing repair and new stucco finish, garden pavilion upgrade with new roof waterproofing, new heating system, and new concrete floor. Since it was not a big project we minimized the drawings to minimum details and prepared an elaborate written description instead. I had a fixed budget that would not be able to include some of work. However, Michal Grabowski, the head of XYZ Plans, was able to find a local builder who did it all for the price. I really appreciated the way the construction process was handled, with customized contract, weekly meeting and meeting minutes, work quality verification and progress checking. It was always great to know that I can call anytime and have a reasonable person arbitrating between me and the contractor. Renovation is not a nice process when you cannot vacant the house but without XYZ Plans professional help it would have been much, much worse. I sure know whom to call when I will be renovating again. Marion”

“Fresh off a beautiful home renovation project, Bonaventura Architect proves that old and new can live seamlessly together creating a unique and thoughtful balance between the two. By carefully considering each aspect of an existing house, new objects, both functional and decorative, add a strong and interesting sense of place and style.
