“TBS rebuilt our deck, added a screened in porch to the back of the house, and added a porch to the front of the house. They also repaired damage to the basement wall that was discovered during the construction project. TBS completed all the work using high quality material and craftsmanship. The railings on the deck used cabling to provide a clear view of Smith Mountain Lake and were topped with Trex boards to provide a smooth and long lasting surface. The back porch has provided a new and dramatic living area to the house; featuring a panoramic view of the lake and a soaring cathedral ceiling. Our neighbor commented that she had "porch envy" after spending some time on it. The front porch has given the house a much improved appearance and a much friendlier entrance to the house. This is the second project that TBS has completed for us, and they can be counted on for being easy to work with and for providing a high quality and funcional product.”

“We worked with STOA to design and build a major renovation of our home in Charlottesville -- including addition of a new two story addition (kitchen / dining on first floor, master suite above). As an architecture firm, STOA did an amazing job of listening, helping us refine our goals, and ultimately delivering a beautiful, functional, and cost-effective design. STOA also served as our contractors on the job which also went very well. Job was finished on time and on budget. We've been in our new home for several years since the work was completed and continue to be thrilled with the design and quality of work. We will definitely hire STOA again in the future for any subsequent projects. Highly recommended!”

“Chris helped us with the renovation of our home 7 years ago. He is knowledgeable about both building and design so it was basically one stop shopping. If I had an idea about a fixture or design choice, I could text or email ideas to him and he would get right back to me right away with his opinion. All of the crew were top notch- pleasant and hard working. He also has excellent plumbers, electricians, roofers etc. lined up to work on his projects. The only negative, which turned out to be a positive, was that Chris pushed me to do things that at the time I wanted to save money by skipping. In the end I was so happy he had given me that extra nudge. We now have a beautiful home that I love living in and that our friends always compliment. Isaac had not joined the team when we worked with Chris, but I know him to be hard working family man.”

“I am a Real Estate Professional and have recently asked Jack for an estimate to build a log home on a lot I just listed. He had two other projects ahead of me, and I thought he would be awhile getting to it. I was shocked when in just a day or two it was hand delivered to my office for my inspection He was very precise in what would be included and knowledgeable in what woods, thickness and roof system would work best for my project. He can walk you thru the reasons for why his systems and protectorates work to keep your investments safe. I recommend coming to see Jack yourself and have him tell you what he can do for you, you will be impressed! I work with people all the time. If you are looking for cheap, this is not what he builds, but as a REALTOR, I want to know that my clients are getting quality for their money and my reputation. “Our family was so fortunate to have Kate's expertise and talent in transforming our daughter's playroom into a beautiful bedroom. The new space is exactly what any little girl would want- warm, welcoming, and inviting. The details are so unique- from the striped walls to all of the decor that Kate hand-picked. This room is without a doubt the best decorated room in our home, and the whole family is drawn to it. From a professional standpoint, Kate was wonderful to work with. Having never consulted a decorator, I did not know what to expect, but was constantly surprised by her knowledge and "out of the box" ideas. Also, we had a major change half-way through the project when we found out we were expecting another baby. We then changed the design to accommodate two children in the bedroom! She was flexible and took it all in stride. I offer my very highest recommendation of Blair Homes- your family will be amazed by the results!”
