Since then they delivered an amazing design with thoughtful suggestions for materials and energy efficiency. They continue to be open to revisions and helping us discover what it is we are ultimately wanting in our new spaces. Michael and Beth will not be building our project but they will act as consultants to help us select a builder to build a high quality project at a reasonable cost. They sat in on one meeting so far with a prospective builder and their experience shined through immediately. “Prepare to be pleased. Fortunately, someone recommended Quality Design & Construction to me at the turn of the century (when they were called Quality Home Improvements) to renovate our master bathroom. I was pleased. Since then they have redesigned and renovated our kitchen, a second bathroom and our deck. They have replaced all our windows with energy efficient ones. They have repaired or upgraded much of our aging home as recommended by periodic home inspections. As perhaps their strangest project, I had them build a black bamboo pot. This pot is twelve feet long by three feet wide by 30 inches deep with six inch poured concrete walls. We hope that it will contain the beautiful, but invasive black bamboo. And my personal favorite, they build a bridge over Honey Brook. It has an attached pergola (I had to look that one up in the dictionary) to hold our climbing, hardy kiwi. I found a builder who is trustworthy and up to any challenge. You, too, will be pleased.”

This was the second time we chose Sigmon Construction for home repairs and improvement. The scope of work included replacing windows, siding and painting. We were again extremely pleased with the transformation of the exterior of our house. We appreciate their attention to detail, quality and timeliness of their work.”

“I had a difficult job to do in a difficult location, I had been trying to get done for two years. Craftsman Direct promptly assessed the situation and sent competent specialist workers to perform the work including removing and entire floor of rotted wood assisting the supports, replacing the floor (a bath) and tiled it, replaced with new toilet and sink and bath. The followed this up with miscellaneous repairs : installing a ceiling, replacing two plaster panels in another place, repairing floor (rotted) under a washing machine. they installed four door knobs. The workers were competent and polite. Kept me informed of problems, changes, and progress of the job. All this in one Week! I am very pleased with every aspect of this job including the cost which I considered fair and appropriate.”

“We hired Steve from "By Design Custom Builders" for our 3,200 sf home renovation which was completed in two phases (downstairs living level in 2014 and upstairs bedroom level in 2016). The lower level reno was fairly extensive, with walls removed and a kitchen redesign. The upper level included updates of all BR/BA's, as well as a complete remodel of our master bath. We had a preconceived vision for the design, so Steve referred me to his preferred industry professionals who made the selection process for the various finishing elements a breeze. With Steve's communication, everyone was very clear about the budget and careful to stay on track. Steve's crew members were highly skilled professionals who obviously took pride in their work. We are sad to say we have since moved out of that home. But for the purpose of this review, it's worth noting we recouped every bit of our renovation investment after selling just 1 year post-project completion. Photos of our contemporary home are included with the professional profile.”
