“IKEAman saved the day! I've always taken pride in my ability to put together IKEA furniture, that is until I bought the PAX closet system. After weeks of slowly assembling the beast of a unit, we finally got to the very last step only to discover that the doors refused to go on! We have an old home with uneven hardwood floors, and after months of deciding (yes - my pride was bruised!), I finally called IKEAman to see what they could do. With a quick response, a decent quote and fast meeting time they swooped in and saved the day. Within 2 hours our unit was fully assembled and looking great! Why on earth did we wait so long to call?!? I highly recommend IKEAman! Fast, friendly and VERY good at interpreting IKEA's mute instruction manual!”

“Working with Hauser was an unbelievable experience. I went into their Burlington location looking to upgrade my backyard, and ended up leaving with a beautiful wicker patio set, accessories, and a smile on my face. I brought in pictures of my backyard and a basic idea of what I was looking to do. Their staff was incredibly knowledgable and gave me a couple options and ideas of what I could potentially do with my space. I ended up leaving with a new luxurious look AND they helped me stay within my budget. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hauser to anyone looking to upgrade their space. “We had just moved to a new house and I was 8 months pregnant when we asked Living Wood to make a headboard for us. Andy and Anna were amazing to work with. They were great at listening to what my husband and I wanted but had suggestions and ideas to help us in the design process. I was most excited about their suggestions for which wood to use. They found us amazing old barn board to make the headboard with. It has its own unique story, this wood, in each grain and line. This is what living wood means to us now, wood with its own life story. I also love how Andy made it with attention to detail and those little finishing touches like pegs where the headboard was screwed together. We are so happy with the final product, a beautiful headboard that is the centrepiece of our room! And the day after our headboard was delivered, our baby arrived too. Perfect timing!”

“I purchased a coffee table (maple) and storage bed (walnut) from Akroyd Furniture who are located in the beautiful Distillery District in Toronto's East end. When I went into their shop to inquire about their products they were very helpful and spent time with me explaining the detail of each piece. Their work is what you'd expect from a master carpenter. As the saying goes you get what you pay for. I found that many other retail stores in Toronto selling storage beds just didn't have the same quality, attention to detail and love for the product. Robert, who is the the owner, is a real class act and true professional. I could tell right away that he loved his job and it shows in his work. If you chose Akroyd Furniture you will not be disappointed. It's was so refreshing to have dealt with a custom small shop instead of dealing with the large box stores on King Street in Toronto. I know that I'll have the coffee table and storage bed many years from now because I invested in quality custom made furniture. Thanks Robert to you and your team.”

“Paint it Like New did an awesome job or refinishing my big wooden desk. I chose to paint it a fabulous bright blue, and it turned out better than I imagined. I received good advise about this color choice and other options I was thinking of. The job turn around time was good too. The only things to take into consideration are that they do not allow you to leave your furniture there for very long. It was not easy to arrange to pick this item up, and the paint had not fully cured. There were touch ups required after dings. And there was no help available to move the furniture. I would definitely work with this company again!”
