“We first met Gene in May 2012 when we bought an historical home that needed to be throughly painted and sealed on the outside in order to get ready for the winter months ahead. He and his crew worked on and off from May to September and completed the job with plenty of time to spare! Then in April 2013, after our remodeling/addition work was completed, Gene was contracted once again and started in our new kitchen with painting and laying a glazed porcelain tile floor on the bias in that room, the sunroom and bathroom, all newly constructed. Then he and his crew started on the top floor of the home and repaired, prepped and painted every surface imaginable. In addition, he built a master bedroom closet in a bedroom which did not have any, laid another tile floor, created woodwork that matched historical woodwork that was missing, finished a tiling project around a double-sided fireplace, and completely redid another bathroom, from ensuring that the floor was level to installing a new shower and vanity. Now, keep in mind that none of these things are ensured to go smoothly, and they didn't, but Gene and his crew were complete professionals, showing up on time and working diligently for at least 8 hours/day. We are ecstatic with the new look of our home and credit Gene and his crew for making our dream come true!”

“We had a very good experience building with Dan Seavey. Unlike many builders in our area, Dan was personally present and active on the job site essentially every day (he built our home rather than just serving as an intermediary with a construction crew). This meant a lot to us. We were single digit percentage over budget on a large project that involved creating a building site in a rural area (no road, electricity, etc). The largest part of this was increased excavation costs; these were not avoidable and based upon the site we chose for the home (Dan had nothing to do with this). The other departures from budget were really for unforseen items or things we changed along the way. Friends who have built similar homes had a very different experience. Very good relationship with subs as well. We were certainly happy with the building process; although we don't intend to move and build again, I would happily work with Dan to build another home.”
