“Chi Renovation remodeled my bathroom, refinished the hardwood floors, and painted all the walls. I'm very meticulous and, consequently, I am NOT an easy customer. So, when a job is done with superior quality, I want to acknowledge it and give full credit. Background I live in a 1-bedroom, Gold Coast condo that's about 700 Sq Ft. I hadn't updated it in 10 years and was really ready for change. I decided to refinish the wood floors, paint all the walls, and completely remodel the bathroom. I consulted with and received bids from 3 companies before choosing Chi-Renovation. Superior Advice & Direction Since I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do to the bathroom or the colors I would choose for the walls, I was open to suggestions. The Chi-Renovation Project Manager showed me pictures and asked questions to be better understand my tastes, how I would use the space, and my vision. He then gave me great recommendations regarding color and design elements and did most of the shopping for me. For example: He brought tile, accent options, and wood finishes to my home based on my preferences. He sent photographs of options for the fixtures, toilet, tub, etc. This was incredibly helpful because I don't have a car nor the time to do that kind of running around. I was pleased and impressed with the advice and direction that he gave me. He also met with the chief engineer for my building at the beginning of the project to manage all of the technical stuff. He made the process VERY easy for me. Exceptional Crew I was also impressed with the caliber of their expert craftsmen. The custom vanity and cabinets that they made are absolutely beautiful and fit perfectly despite the awkward constraints of the space. The tilework is like art -- beautiful and flawless. And, the refinished hardwood floors look like new. Perfect! And, they completed everything in just 4 weeks! Why Chi Renovation & Design? TRUST... Before witnessing any of their work in my own space, I chose them because after seeing examples of their work and speaking to them, I trusted that they would do what they said they would do when they said they would do it and that they would do it with integrity (in terms of their professional conduct and the materials they used): On Budget - On Time - Highest Quality. I appreciated having the Project Manager (who also provided wonderful design direction) as a central point of contact for all elements of the project and their entire crew proved worthy of my trust... so much so that I felt comfortable taking a mini out-of-state vacation for the last week of the project while they painted the walls and refinished the floors. The Cost I was quoted $12,600 for the work (and that included basic building materials). I paid an additional $4,700 for my custom vanity and cabinets, tempered glass sink, brushed nickel fixtures (for the sink, tub, and shower), and tile. The price was reasonable given my vision for the space, the types design elements that I chose, and the quality of the work.”

“Ilan and his team have completed 2 projects for me. The first was Oct 2021: I was in a horrible place after my new construction business flooded and drywall, plumbing, flooring and cabinetry had to be removed due to city sewer backup. After working with my landlords, insurance, and the building HOA, I was still on the hook for a significant amount for repairs. Ilan met me the day after I called and got his team started on the project almost immediately. His guys are professional, efficient, and hardworking. You cannot go wrong with this team. I am so grateful with how they helped me during this difficult period. And that I was able to get back to business! I will definitely use them again should the need arise. The 2nd project was for my home, summer 2022. His team came and repaired our etched and detailed glass shower door for a fraction of the price a glass door store quoted me. Our railing had come off and we were told we would have to replace the entire glass door for a substandard quality and a significant cost and that the railing could not be fixed. Ilan's team came and fixed the railing within a few hours. The also made repairs throughout my home, including but not limited to: concrete stairs sealing, painting, re-sealing the shower and replacing fixtures. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He is reliable, transparent, and easy to get a hold of. I have had horrible experiences working with contractors, so his team is like a breath of fresh air. They will do the work until it is complete and done to your satisfaction.”

“We cannot convey through a review how GREAT working with John at CHR Contractors was. We originally found John through Angi's List while getting quotes to have a raised Trex deck built behind our house. He was responsive during the quoting process, and all through the project once we moved forward with him. We could not be happier with the work he did, and the quality we received, especially considering his price was VERY competitive. Since the original work on the deck, we have had John fully remodel our kitchen (including combining 2 separate rooms into a larger kitchen area), a full bathroom remodel down to the studs, and a new laundry room upstairs in our master bedroom. All were done at very fair pricing, quickly, and with the quality we wanted. John was particularly good about making sure if there was something that needed to be decided on, he laid out all the pros and cons for my wife and I, and let us make an educated decision on how we wanted to move forward, even when the alternative may have been more difficult and time consuming for him and his team. During the process of our remodeling, we have used John's recommendations for an electrician, a plumber, a hard wood installation/sanding/staining company, a carpet installer, and a quartz countertop installer. All came in significantly less expensive than the quotes I was able to get on my own, and all did quality work. There are plenty of contractors around, but few are decent, and even fewer I would call "good". John is a GREAT one. We cannot recommend him enough. Robert & Audrey”
