“Big shout out to Val and his team. Reliable, honest, high communication and great skills. Complete renovation down to the studs with a massive addition, new everything! Renovations are never an easy thing but Val held our hand throughout the entire process and made our dream home a reality. So many decisions to make along the way. “MacMorris Construction Group has completed several projects for us. They are always clean and tidy, making sure to leave a safe and neat worksite overnight. They come when scheduled and remain on schedule. We have used them to redo a bathroom, put up a porch roof, and most recently they completed a large kitchen renovation with an extension. They have taken care of all tiling, subcontract out with trusted workmen for electrical and plumbing work, and have many other professionals with whom they have established relationships (such as building engineers) that they can call for help. They troubleshoot as the project is underway to make sure that we as the customer get the best quality results. I cannot recommend them enough.”

“They gave me a 900 sqft 2nd floor addition with entire 1st floor alterations. This project included a kitchen, three baths, hardwood flooring, roofing, siding, windows, two decks, etc!! They also built a detached garage and took care of all my landscaping. The project was a huge success. They did what was promised and finished before the expected complete date. There price was fair and they stuck to it. There were no extra charges as the project was being done. They were on time, respectful, professional and pleasure to deal with. Everyone in their crew was excellent.”

“UPDATE: Since I wrote this review last, I received a response from Gandalf Restorations owner, Alex, who was helpful in getting the issue resolved and cover the cost for the repair of the small chip in the stone. All's well that ultimately ends well! __________________________________________________________________________ We got our kitchen remodeled two years back through Gandolf Restorations. We originally chose them for their professionalism that they showed at the time of presentation. They also had a warranty for their service. Two years later my kitchen counter stone has a chip in it and inspite of approaching and respectfully writing to them more than half a dozen times the owner, Alex, has not responded after his first response. They do an ok job but needed to be micromanaged to get best results. I would not recommend Gandolf or any other business who does not stand behind their work! This is a tiny chip that could be easily filled and they could've saved their company's reputation but it's unacceptable to be non-responsive in a service based business.”

“I would highly recommend Jack and his team to anyone! And already have! Our neighbors recommended him to us after their bathroom reno and our other neighbors will be using him in the fall for theirs. He’s the best! We renovated 2.5 bathrooms this spring with Jack. His quote came in where we were hoping which was great. But more importantly for us was the quality of the work and ease of working with him and his team. Jack is very responsive, timely, and always follow through, which we have learned is difficult to find. Whenever I got stressed, Jack always remained calm and addressed any concerns right away. Truly Jack and his team were a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to use them again for any future projects! (See pics of Northern Liberties bathrooms for our reno)”

“Brian/Cody came in and removed a load bearing wall in our house that separated the living room/dining room/kitchen. They did a nice job and stuck to the original outlined cost of the project despite some complications with the town permitting process. They were helpful and answered all of our questions along the way. Our space looks completely different now and is just the way we hoped it would turn out”
