His crew was very meticulous, respectful of our time and home, and very accommodating when I decided to add something in mid-remodel(extra painting). In fact, because of our experiences with other home builders in the area, i can also confidently say that thoroughbred has the most generous allowances when selecting finishes. As someone who is passionate about design- this is where it hit a home run for me. Gina, who leads the design aspect of construction was an absolute pleasure to work with! Gina has excellent taste, class, and vision. She helped guide me through to make the right choices, in addition to steering me away from what could be a bad choice by considering the dynamics of our life…(kids, dogs, etc.) She truly pulled everything together seamlessly without me ever feeling overwhelmed, and i never want to design another house without her!! All of this leads me to say that although Thoroughbred Custom Homes is a newer builder to the North Dallas area- they are exactly what this area has been missing.
