“In 2015, Lake Living Consultants made my lifetime dream come true - a home built on my family property in Shapleigh, Maine. Tucked in the corner of a field provides the perfect setting to watch wildlife of all kinds, stars at night and catch the breeze as it blows through our open living space! From the first meeting to our last, Tyler and Scott provided wonderful services. From Scott's gift with design to Tyler's natural talent with color and everything that looks great, we were more than pleased. All permits and inspections were done by them which made for a smooth process. The father and son team took a great interest in the project from the start as was evident in deciding the perfect placement of the building. Their attention to detail, use of the best sub contractors and materials made for a great experience! I was particularly impressed with how efficient Tyler was in returning calls, always there to answer a question and help make decisions on everything! They were very flexible in allowing us to interject ideas as we went through the building process. It was wonderful to watch Tyler, whom I've known since he was a little boy, take the lead in the building of our home in such a professional, caring manner. “Dave is an exceptional designer and builder. His knowledge and execution of a plan are professional, accurate and completed with integrity. His talents as a designer and hands on builder are remarkable. His versatility in his abilities to design and build traditional homes as well as more modern-style homes of every size is impressive. I am convinced he can do anything! I found Dave to be patient, kind and trustworthy. He was always willing to hear design ideas and take things out of the box when I wanted to while keeping me within the box when I needed to. He only uses respectful and skillful crew memebers that appear to be loyal to him and admired by them.. “We hired Hunter Homes to take an existing 2-bay garage and create a game room downstairs and a master suite upstairs. These new rooms joined with the oldest portion of my home (1750s) so blending the two was difficult, but Brad handled it perfectly and it looks new but also like it has been there for a long, long time. In addition to being a clean and courteous group of workers, the Hunter Homes team did a masterful job on the trim and fine carpentry – some of the best I have ever seen. Brad also offered up many of his own ideas that improved on the architect’s plans. We were very happy with the final outcome, and would hire them again for any size project.”

“We had Woodcastle Homes build our home in 2009. This was our first custom home, so we reached out to Chris for guidance on how to proceed. We knew how much we wanted to spend, but not much else. Chris was a terrific help providing floor plans and lot locations that fit within our budget. It didn't take long to decide where, and what, to build. Construction started in June and we moved in the last week of October -- one week before our first child was born! Thanks to Chris and the Woodcastle team, we were moved in and unpacked just in time for our new addition. More than seven years later, we continue to be happy with the quality and construction of our home.”
