“Cynthia is an experienced and tasteful designer. At our initial meeting, I told her that I liked a minimalist décor style with mid-century modern furniture. She understood what I wanted and, with the little direction I provided, created a design presentation with the elements and finishes I had envisioned. The end result was that my loft style condo was transformed into a brighter and more airy space, with simplicity and understated elegance. The remodel included installation of hardwood and tile flooring, refacing of kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and new appliances, furniture, and window treatments. Being extremely organized, Cynthia accommodated my short timeline for visiting the necessary showrooms. She was always respective of my budget, and was open to my ideas but steered me away from the not so good ones. During the design process I emailed her numerous times and she always responded promptly. She was extremely professional and patient when I had second thoughts about things we had discussed, which made for a very comfortable working relationship. I most definitely would like to work with Cynthia again, and highly recommend her.”

“Melanie designed my kitchen remodel. She patiently listened to my concerns and desires. Her first recommendation was to look at many kitchens on Houzz and add the ones I liked to an ideabook. This made it easy for me to see what style I wanted. Her design was wonderful. She opened up the space, and made the most of what we had. Melanie helped me with questions and problems throughout the remodel. Melanie made the process as smooth as possible. We love our new kitchen.”

Once I hired Cesar Chavez Design a huge weight was lifted. I loved his existing work so I knew he could help me achieve the look I wanted. “I absolutely loved working with Laura during our house renovation - she helped make our house into our dream home! Laura’s expertise, creativity, and sense of style have been invaluable through the entire design and selection process. She carefully listens to her clients and helps with the whole process from design to the finishing touches. Laura has a wonderful eye for detail and color. She pays close attention to the big picture as well as to every little detail. She was instrumental in every step of our remodel - from helping with the layout, creating the CAD drawings for permits, recommending vetted contractors and vendors with whom she has great relationships, to helping with design ideas and choosing the right materials. We couldn’t be happier with the final results! Laura is truly a talented designer and wonderful to work with. “Laurie Ghielmetti has not only taught me piano (in her earlier life), but has been my interior designer for many years! She has worked with me in a number of homes, and has been terrific across the board. She has a very wide knowledge of a range of designs and knows just where to get things, who provides the best guarantees and service, and then she stands by to make sure everyone comes as and when expected and and is satisfactory to me in my home and in use. She's also a wonderful person to spend time with. And, by the way, her long time sidekick Kelley Matusiak is also terrific!”

“I loved working with Kelly and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an interior designer who brings creativity, but designs something that fits YOU. My husband, daughter and I had just moved from NYC to LA, so we hired Kelly to help us design a space that reflected our energy, experiences, personality and the SoCal vibe. I always dreamed of going lighter with color in a living space, but never had the guts. Kelly listened intently to what we had to say and then suggested risky and creative ideas based on our conversation, budget and key pieces of furniture we wanted to keep. As a result, Kelly turned our apartment into our home...that looks more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. People walk in and are stunned at how unique it looks in its vibrancy and style, while still reflecting who we are. Kelly told us in our initial meeting that we would love it, we would not know which room we liked the best, and we would never want to move out. Mission accomplished. We absolutely love it! Also, Kelly is an extremely warm-hearted, kind individual, and she made the process fun and easy (which was such a blessing as we were juggling a cross country move, a 1 year old and new jobs). She responded to emails promptly and effectively, and moved through our project with the pace at which we were comfortable. If we ever move again (which I don't want to now!!!) I will hire Kelly in a heartbeat. :)”
