We had a small space and he provided us with a detailed rendering of the design before work started so that we could have a great picture of the finished design - from concept to completion. Every space was professionally designed and we have optimum use of each area - from cooking to preparation to storage - all within easy reach. Steve's attention to detail and excellent customer service throughout the project was always evident. Colour ideas, cabinetry, countertops, as well as assistance with appliance ideas was extremely well done, and suited our needs perfectly. “Emma and her entire Grassroots Design & Build team provide an incredible product at competitive pricing without any of the BS. While I have not (yet) hired Grassroots to work on my own home, I have now photographed over a dozen projects by them varying in scope and scale. From accent furniture in a sitting room to a complete rebuild of a kitchen and bathroom, I've found Emma's taste to be one of classic beauty. Not everyone lives in an ultra-modern clean home, not everyone has the budget to re-construct their entire house. Emma comes in with her team and re-builds what is required preserving the feel and taste of the home and owner at any budget. I've seen kitchens using Ikea cabinets with very classy design touches to stay on budget, or a fully-outfitted bathroom with no expense spared. A contractor and designer in-one, I've found her work to be thorough and well executed from concept to finished product. If you have an old home, or just a new one that needs a touch of class, I would recommend Grassroots for this work.”
