“Last fall, we took on our first remodel project (master bath) and hired Kathie Maughan to work with us on the project. While we had the choice of just having her do a design for us, we knew we wanted the added comfort of having her handle all the details, and had her manage the project as well. This was a really good decision. Kathie made sure we felt comfortable with every phase of the project and worked hard at correcting any issues that came up. She checked in almost every day and was always available to answer my questions (even on a Saturday at one point). But beyond the pleasure of working with Kathie, is the pleasure of working with her wonderfully conscientious crew. They answered questions, explained processes and were unfailingly friendly and courteous. This is a great bunch of people to have come into your home and leave a beautiful space behind. We are truly pleased with the results and will use Maughan Design again in the future.”

“We asked Lori for a consulation for a re-do of our tiny kitchen. We wanted it open, bright, and updated. She is so approachable and her ideas were so on target! She really listened to us, and curated choices down so they were manageable and easy for us to make decisions. Her taste is impeccable. If we were leaning in a wrong direction, she was always able to help us understand her reasoning and realize the "vision". For example, I wanted glass for the top cabinets, but she explained that taking the cabinetry all the way to the ceiling would make the room feel larger. Boy, was she right! Folks have actually asked us if we had our ceiling raised! We love our "new" kitchen, and receive extremely complimentary feedback from everyone. Lori was incredibly knowledgable and - bonus! she was fun to work with. She nailed it!”

Hannah really streamlined the process and timeline and the final outcome was great. We were impressed with her professionalism, attention to detail and overall knowledge of the building process and would hire her in a heartbeat if we were to do it all over again. “I loved working with Lynnette at Grapevine Design. She has helped me with several projects including adding a large island to my kitchen recently. Her ability to assess your needs by talking about how you utilize space makes her design optimal for your lifestyle. She is especially excellent bout customizing your design to your unique needs. As we worked on the island we talked about how we would be using it and what type of storage and look we wanted and we got it all! After 6 months I am even happier with it that I could have ever imagined. Her design fees are worth every penny I paid and more. I will definitely use her again for any design needs -- next up: remodel the rest of the kitchen & get custom closets! Can't wait!”

“Alan coordinated a rather large remodel project at our home. He gathered great sub contractors and scheduled all of the tasks. Everything was scheduled out and work completed on time and for the most part on budget. We have found that you always plan a little over and there always seems to be something unforeseen. We were very pleased with the work and couldn't be happier with the outcome. We receive great complements on the project. Alan seemed to know the answers to questions, before we had them. He anticipated our needs and was very attentive. We didn't have to worry about a thing while the project moved along. We were always able to count on him as the project was from May until August (we scheduled a 3 week vacation in the middle so work was not done during that time). Overall if you are looking for someone to manage your remodel projects we highly recommend Alan. Nice guy, easy to work with and most importantly, dependable.”

“Sharon is well versed in the field of Kitchen and Bath design and does an excellent job with her clients. I had the pleasure of providing window coverings on one of her projects. Her project was well executed, it was easy to walk through the home and everything in the kitchen was in a convenient location to make cooking easy. In addition, Sharon works hard with local students to help prepare them for the business world through the Academic Relations position on our local NKBA (national kitchen & bath association) in Oregon. Sharon brings much knowledge and expertise to all she does. Sharon, myself and another professional had the opportunity to judge student work at George Fox University a couple of years ago. What fun it was to see the work and hear each of our comments. Sharon is certified as an AKBD (Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer) with NKBA and has won the Coty award with ORA (Oregon Remolders Association).”
