“We hired Ellene to draw a plan for our home renovation, which involved enlarging our kitchen, enclosing a sunroom, and reconfiguring an existing den. While other neighbors with the same model house had done projects to expand their kitchens, we wanted to use the combined space to get an additional bedroom, small bathroom, and larger kitchen while at the same time only reducing the den slightly. After taking measurements, Ellene spent hours discussing with us how we could best use the space to meet our needs. She asked detailed questions to make sure we would have adequate storage, that the kitchen would conveniently accommodate appliances large and small, and that the new layout would work for our busy family. She was a valuable resource as we made decisions about types of appliances, pantry design, and much more. Five years after the renovation was completed, I can say the money we paid Ellene (just a tiny percentage of the total project!) was money very well spent. We are thrilled with the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and den, and at no point have I said "I wish I would have done X, Y, or Z differently." I have gotten Ellene's input on other home improvements since then, and she always adds a valuable perspective and is a pleasure to work with.”

“I had such a fun, amazing experience today working with Travis from Forest Hill Kitchen and Bath. He is extremely knowledgeble, creative, and his passion for his work in undeniable. He was totally on my wavelength. He was able to couple what I liked with what my husband liked and bring it all together with a backsplash that is unique and custom. He had no problems pulling out every color glass tile he had for us to come up with a good mix that would pull from our countertops. Not only did he have the patience he actually enjoyed working with the colors to help us come up with the best result. He asked all the right questions. “We recently renovated our kitchen with new counter tops, sinks, back splash and repainted cabinets. elizaBeth Marcocci was most helpful as she listened to what we wanted, and then helped us select everything we needed for the renovation, including wall paint (even though this painting was not to be done by Mother Hubbard's Custom Cabinetry.) She was also very helpful with suggesting the use of under cabinet power strips to move electrical outlets/switches to make the back splash tiles uncluttered. She arranged and kept all of the work on a timeline that fit our schedule. She made numerous on site visits (a 40 min. drive for her) during the work and after the job was completed. We could not be happier with the time that she spent with us in planning and executing this project. Her expertise was indispensable in bringing it all together in a beautiful finished product that we are very proud of.”

“Pete and his team did a complete refinishing of our basement. It was done in two stages: the first included designing the empty space to make it most functional for us. We needed apartment type living as our daughter and two granddaughters are living with us. We wanted as much light as possible which he accomplished with the installation of extra windows and great lighting. In addition to a living area, we needed a desk area, a bedroom and bath and plenty of usable storage. He covered existing support posts and added closets. The second stage was begun after three years when we decided a kitchen was also needed so Pete again used his design expertise by converting the desk area into a wonderful kitchen which includes plenty of cabinet and counter top space, a refrigerator, sink, dishwasher and stove along with the addition of a beautiful, functional breakfast bar. Pete and his carpenters, plumbers and others were always respectful, on time and kept us abreast of what was happening on a daily basis. There were no unexpected delays. We could not have asked for a better outcome.”
