My family and friends will always choose my backyard for dining above any restaurant because the beauty and tranquility of my outdoor space creates the best kind of mood for social gatherings. My landscaping is gorgeous and easy to maintain. My backyard is now an extra room in my home, an annuity that I did not consider when I first started planning to re-design my yard. “I want you to know that I am very happy with the final plant choices. I am not sure how you did it but, some how you were able to decipher what we wanted the end results to be in our yard. Some days I was not sure what we wanted! Our yard is now not only beautiful but, most importantly manageable!!! We no longer have to spend hours weekly trying to maintain the landscape. Instead we now get to spend that time enjoying being outside in our yard. I really appreciate that you were available to check everything after installation and make appropriate substitutions. “The work done by Patrick and his team at Equinox Landscape brightens every single day of my life. I love the design, almost entirely suggested by Patrick. I love the quality of the materials and the wokrmanship. We had to modify the project a couple of times while in progress: costs went up too fast once we realized how hard it was to do any digging into the hillside. I also realized I wanted more of a finished look in one area than I had previously indicated. A drought set in and I became concerned about water rationing making it impossible to keep all the projected trees alive. A bobcat attacked my chickens and I changed the design for the coop. So it was an adventure, and in the end there were many changes. The end result though, makes me smile every day. Please work closely with the team to make sure the cost does not go over budget, but keep in mind that this is not just about how everything looks, but also how meaningful it is to you in the end.”

Austin's front yard design replaced white gravel and a wall of unkempt juniper bushes with an inviting path to the front door through a variety of blooming shrubs and succulents. At my request, Austin made sure the designs were low maintenance, drought-resistant, and featured plants that bloomed at different times throughout the year. Austin's designs doubled the usable space on my property, adding so much value. I now spend more time outside than inside!”

“We worked with Alan (Village Landscape Architecture) to help us with a large corner lot front yard after removing all of our lawn. We wanted drought tolerant plantings that would be a benefit to wildlife, but didn't know where to start. We asked Alan to deliver a plan, in the form of drawings, that we could implement ourselves. Alan was easy to communicate with and listened carefully to our parameters. Beyond recommending the placement and varieties of plants, Alan drew a plan that also incorporated an inviting addition to our walkway entrance. We loved his creative additions of hardscape which tied back to our love of Mother Nature's natural landscape. We still love the design today - 4 years later. Alan was easy to work with, a good listener, and provided the deliverable on time. I highly recommend him.”
