“The team at Outdoor Craftsmen is a group of talented professionals who envisioned and executed an incredible landscape for our home that went beyond our expectations. Chris designed a plan that creatively solved our issues of poor drainage and lack of privacy with extensive boulder hardscapes, large berms, and amazing plant specimens. During the two phases of our job (almost 5 months total) the crew maintained a clean and safe job site, kept open communication, and dealt with many last-minute requests and changes from us with ease and flexibility. I now have a incredible flag stone sitting area surrounded by boulders, timber and trees. The elevated berms give my yard demension. The trees and shrubs give me the privacy I wanted. The are professional, and honest. They didn't leave until it was just the way I wanted it. Love them.”

“We had a very outdated and environmentally unfriendly landscape around the 3acre site of our 1980s southwest run style berm home. Concrete with a very formal ugly brick pattern in front of our south-facing solar energy source, and asphalt paving (UGH!) everywhere else. It made the house hot in summer and ugly. The house also needed an entrance, as there was not an obvious one. Peter Chivers and his crew put together a plan with us to start to " remediate" the site. Peter's taste and ours I think really fit. He designed a fabulous new southwestern entry, even scrounged around and found a very cool old hand hewn beam for the header. There's more work to be done with plants and the landscape, and we'll be working with them again next year. You should know that Peter is a perfectionist and as with the really good people, sometimes things take longer than you think. We didn't push, but if we had I think it would probably be ready for pictures. We'll put some up as soon as we can!”

“I hired Ben to do a full-scale front and rear-yard landscaping project on a "small-ish" city lot in an urban neighborhood. The project included quite a bit of hardscape and soft-scape, and Ben listened carefully to my vision for what I wanted and devised a plan to match those specifications. Now my patio and small backyard feels like an extension of my family room, which is exactly what I wanted. The crew who completed the work commenced the project immediately and worked tirelessly for three weeks until it was finished. They were extremely professional, careful, and courteous. Ben was also very helpful to resolve an issue that arose with the next door neighbor, which was going above and beyond what I hired him to do. I could not be happier with the results!”
