“Our experience with Jim Walker was "five star". First, he listens really well. Second, he educates his potential client(s) without being pushy. He knows his products - positives and limitations - and describes them without bias. Jim comes across as an advisor, not a high pressure salesperson. He provides a clear plan and estimates of costs. Once we decided to accept his proposal, he personally came on site to measure and then deliver a detailed set of plans. In our case, we were very involved in the design process - which included making some changes to Jim's preliminary drawings. He was fine with that - and liked our input. Delivery went as planned. He came on site several times as the units were being installed, and came back after installation to make adjustments without charge. Jim's services included planning and delivering of all cabinetry for a custom kitchen and for three full baths. From beginning to end, Jim uses a partnering approach - and applies an ethical standard to his work.”

“We had a wonderful experience working with Cris Bifaro Woodworks. Cris built us a somewhat complicated TV/media cabinet and built-in bookcases for a study. The cabinetry is beautiful. We are so happy with the final product. Cris is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He is wonderful to work with because he so obviously loves what he does. He is very responsive to questions and concerns and gives appropriate guidance throughout the entire prohect. Cris also has a great sense of aesthetics, so his advice can be very helpful. We would not hesitate to use Cris Bifaro Woodworks again.”

“We recently remodeled our 1990s master bathroom to a modern Bali-Style retreat. Our design is unusual and we became frustrated after visiting two large local tile stores that just couldn’t embrace our concept. We were referred to Ashley and she was incredible. Instantly she grasped our ideas and pulled together tile selections in a matter of minutes that worked perfectly. Her next question was “What color paint are you going to use?” and she pulled out paint selections to make a fabulous recommendation even though she didn’t even sell paint. Throughout our project she was the calm in the storm as the typical remodeling issues arose and she provided suggested solutions at every turn. “Meghan was both the designer and the 'overseer' for my kitchen renovation, and she did a wonderful job. She is an excellent designer, finding the balance between good design and what i wanted (I am a bad designer but a frequent cook, and I had opinions....). Once the design was done, she kept me posted while we waited for cabinets. A separate contractor was used and she seamlessly coordinated with him. As always, there were a few hiccups along the way, but Meghan is committed to excellence and makes sure the job is done and done right.”

“We used Tracy to remodel the kitchen on a house we purchased. The old house and kitchen was a disaster. I'm still shocked when I see it and still can't believe how awesome it looks now. In addition, we had a lot of ideas that Tracy talked us out of or in to. She was right at every turn. And, while the design was absolutely first class, it was shocking how much money she saved us and what a good steward of our money she was. Almost anyone can make a great looking kitchen with unlimited funds. Tracy is a thinker who can get great results even when the budget isn't all it should be!”

“I worked with Kara Gressler at HomeSource Design Center and she is great! We had the best time working on the design layouts for my kitchen, beverage center, laundry room and guest bathroom. She was enthusiastic about the project and totally understood the industrial feel I was aiming to create. Her ideas were well though out and on target with my concept. I appreciated her experience and professional experience which helped me avoid mistakes in cabinet design. Kara was budget conscience, always giving me several options on cabinet finishes, doors, etc and, again, making suggestions to ensure I got the biggest bang for the money I was spending. The installation went very smoothly and we are looking forward to the finishing touches being done once the build is completed. I would definitely recommend working with Kara at HomeSource.”
