“We selected Buchan to build our dream home after a long and extensive search. Our project had a lot of special challenges including access, shoreline restrictions and a schedule which had us out of town most weeks. So we were looking for a builder with a proven track record, someone who would be highly flexible while also bringing an innovative and fresh perspective to guide us. Despite having built before this project was more complex so complete trust was also essential. Buchan rose to the occasion and wholly came alongside us. Surely Buchan had many other projects going besides ours but we'd have never known it. It felt like they were building just for us. They were expert guides, leaning in where we needed it, backing off where we were firm. It was both a very professional engagement yet felt very personal. We are in our new home and absolutely love it. Only thing would have done differently is not spend so much time looking for a partner! Highly recommend Buchan and definitely would build with them again.”

“Troy and Mick were respectful & professional while spending the better part of 8 months in our home renovating our upstairs to create a walk-in closet and playroom area, replacing our railings & bannisters, while also finishing our basement. Pricing was done on an hourly basis. Custom work was completed on a featured reclaimed barnwood wall and walnut bar top as well as the railings & bannisters.”

“I have both Sold and Listed New Homes for Sapphire Home NW. I have been selling and listing New Homes since 1988 working with several New Home builders. What I appreciate most about Sapphire is their commitment to their Tag Line "Built to Last". Most folks never get to see what is behind the walls, these homes are built very well. Two other areas that are important to both me and my clients is the effort that Sapphire goes to in an effort to make a sale happen and make it a good experience, they are very fair to deal with, this is unusual for most Home Builders in my opinion. Next is what happens after the sale, Customer Service and Follow up are the Best I have experienced. With other Home Builders I have dealt with Customer Service is often an after thought and it means I have to hound them to satisfy my clients, not the case with Sapphire, they get it done, they want satisfied customers and they do deliver. I highly recommend Sapphire Homes if you are looking to purchase a New Home.”

The 70 year old kitchen and dining room in our large home presented some significant remodeling challenges but we were thrilled with the workmanship, management and outcome. “We spoke with numerous builders and started our building project with one other builder before finally finding Freese Custom Homes, and are so glad that we found them and decided to have them build our home. Todd was amazing to work with from the very beginning planning process all the way through to following up after we moved into our home. Instead of working with an architect, we had Freese Custom Homes design our house based on some ideas we had and are incredibly happy with the floorplan and design we ended up with, not to mention the cost savings over using an architect. Todd was able to design a house that was laid out just like we wanted, and also made sense from a builder's perspective so there were no architectural surprises during the building process. Communication throughout the build was great, which was very important as hiccups related to covid supply issues arose. Todd was able to work around all of the issues that came up and found reasonable alternatives when the selections we chose were no longer available. The end product is above our expectations and we couldn't be happier about how it turned out. If I had another building project in the future, Todd would be my first choice without hesitation.”
