“Jonathan took the vision I had for our living room and made it a reality. He shared his tips and introduced us to local antique shops and professionals. Old furniture touched up and reupholstered along with unique touches, like Moroccan window screens as valances, make the room feel personal and inviting. I would work with Jonathan again and recommend him in a heartbeat.”

“Anne Surchin was an excellent architect for our small farmhouse -style kitchen renovation in Southold. I had seen a friend's renovation by her and was impressed enough to then hire her for our kitchen. She is extremely knowledgeable about architectural styles and costs and was able to work within our means. She suggested an excellent builder who kept prices down. As a woman, she was especially mindful of my needs and comfort in the kitchen and was imaginative at suggesting ideas when I didn't have a clue. I would highly recommend Anne for those who have an appreciation of good architecture and would like an architect who has the same.”

“I used Modern Tradition Kitchen & Bath and could not have been more pleased with the results. I moved into an apartment that was a complete gut job both kitchen and bath. “We worked with Bob from S&CK for a completely renovated townhouse in Southport. he was extraordinary from the very beginning. He managed my expectations, and he helped us find exactly the right combination of kitchen cabinets to countertops, in very different materials, but completing styles. He was patient, knowledgeable, and professional, always. I am extremely happy with the finished project and will use Bob and Shore & Country Kitchens again, hopefully in the near future for another remodel.”

A good Designer must have the ability to create unique and exciting spaces for their clients, that's a "Given". Where Ellen excels is in taking that ability and combining it with an amazing empathy for her clients' needs.
