He was very friendly and professional. He took the measurements and went over the options. We decided to go with them because they were very experienced and their price was the best for the same brand of windows quoted by two other companies. Their communication was very clear throughout the process. Two installers showed up on time and they did a great job with installation and clean-up. We're very happy with these beautiful windows and their service.”

“We had a kitchen greenhouse window that was in bad condition. We looked into replacing the entire window and had quotes in excess of $3,500 which did not include some tile work that would need to be addressed by a second contractor. We contacted R&S Glazing Specialties to have the glass replaced rather than replacement of the entire window. R&S completed the entire project in 3 weeks (would have had to wait 14-16 weeks to obtain a new window) at a fraction of the cost. The services of R&S were A-1 from the initial contact with the office through estimating to completion of the project. They were very attentive to our needs and concerns and timely in completing the work. If you need glass replacement (or other services R&S provides), I would no hesitation in using them.”

I purchased 5 windows and the installation guys gave me a rundown on what they are doing to remove the old windows, install the new windows, training on operating the windows, clean up, and a walk-through on what they did. The window price is high but the windows are solid, durable, and, so far, working great. I would rate them 5 stars but their prices brought it down a notch.”

“Our first encounter with Southgate Glass was finding them as a vendor at Costco. I saw that as a good sign. Southgate Glass had good options for replacement doors for the patio sliders installed by the builders of our house in about 2000. The original doors were in need of replacement. The new doors have UV blocking glass and are more energy efficient. We made our choice and the doors were installed in a reasonable time frame. The doors were well made and well installed, so it was logical to go with the company that had pleased us with their work. This project was a bathroom remodel that needed some custom glass work for the shower. The man that came to give us the estimate carefully measured, asked questions about our expectations, desires, and requirements. A few days later, he brought the glass pieces and fittings and a helper, and in short order they had assembled our beautiful new shower enclosure. We are very pleased with the work they did. Every part of the project was done well: measuring for the project, having the pieces made, then putting it all together. We highly recommend Southgate Glass for any glass projects your home may need. Good products, expertly installed.”

“Earlier this year we had West Coast Windows and Doors replace 10 windows and a door. Part of why we chose them is because they install Anlin products, and we wanted an Anlin french door for our patio with a built in dog door. I first went out to their showroom in March to see the Anlin windows that I was interested in in person. Liz was extremely helpful in showing me the windows, the door options, confirming that the french door would be available with the pet door, and showing me the options for window textures. They are quite busy and so it takes some time to get on their schedule, but it's definitely worth the wait! Richard, the owner came out to do the initial measurements, and was quite honest and straightforward in explaining options, as well as pros/cons when I was unsure. Our windows arrived earlier than they anticipated and the crew they sent out was professional and efficient. The install took 3 days. There was an issue of a miscommunication between WCWD and the city building office about the allowable window sill height in one room. I thought the original window looked fine, but the city inspectors said no. What WCWD interpreted was permissible ended up not being approved by the city, and at their own cost they sent out someone to make new measurements, re-ordered a new window, which arrived very quickly, and then were able to send the same crew out to install within a day of the new window arriving at their shop. I appreciated their professionalism, honesty, and courtesy throughout the whole process. The windows and door are beautiful and we look forward to enjoying them for many years to come.”
