“M&M American Builders are a very professional company. My wife and I own a ranch style home. In the kitchen she wanted a double window to be removed and a door. She wanted it replaced with a sliding door. John & Keith came in and reconstructed the entire back wall of our kitchen to accommodate her vision, and let me say they did just that. We are told over and over again how much this has changed the look of our kitchen from the natural lighting, space and above all the quality of work done. They were very helpful and when leaving they left everything spotless inside and out. If you ask for something to get done M&M American Builders of NH will deliver just that.”

“Steve was a great partner to work with on our recent net zero Design/Build collaboration! Steve was able to take our detailed list of design requirements and create an incredibly functional home plan that ultimately satisfied all of our needs and desires. Highlights of our project included: - The final home plan was the product of a highly collaborative and iterative design process that relied upon 3D renderings and walkthroughs to test and review the plan at each stage of design. This allowed us to validate the plan and, where necessary, make adjustments before construction actually started. We can honestly say that there is nothing material we would change about the design. - Steve’s extensive background in modular and net zero construction ensured an extremely energy-efficient home (HERS score of 11) - Our building envelope presented some interesting positional challenges that Steve was able to solve elegantly and efficiently. - Steve not only accommodated our desire to do the interior finishing work (i.e., cabinetry, tiling, flooring, painting, etc.) ourselves, but in fact actively facilitated our ability to do so by adjusting his build plan to complete our workshop well before the rest of the house was completed. “In 2015, Lake Living Consultants made my lifetime dream come true - a home built on my family property in Shapleigh, Maine. Tucked in the corner of a field provides the perfect setting to watch wildlife of all kinds, stars at night and catch the breeze as it blows through our open living space! From the first meeting to our last, Tyler and Scott provided wonderful services. From Scott's gift with design to Tyler's natural talent with color and everything that looks great, we were more than pleased. All permits and inspections were done by them which made for a smooth process. The father and son team took a great interest in the project from the start as was evident in deciding the perfect placement of the building. Their attention to detail, use of the best sub contractors and materials made for a great experience! I was particularly impressed with how efficient Tyler was in returning calls, always there to answer a question and help make decisions on everything! They were very flexible in allowing us to interject ideas as we went through the building process. “After meeting Gavin for the first time, I know our kitchen would be in good hands! We wanted to renovate our entire kitchen area, entranceway and at the same time, make it modern and practical for a family of 6. He gave us several different drawings and ideas and we collaborated on the final design. Through the entire process, his "designer" brain is always on! He is constantly trying to find the best fit for our needs and situation. He has a broad knowledge of not only architecture, but the entire design, permit, build, construction process. This is also why we loved working with him because he has a great sense of the cost required to complete our design and stay within our budget. Throughout the entire process, he was available by phone and email to coordinate, plan or fix small details. He worked seamlessly with the city to get our plans approved and permitted. It felt to us that our project was his only project and he knew every single detail probably better than us. We absolutely love our new kitchen and will for years to come! We will use him again for our stairway and upstairs renovation. I highly recommend Gavin for his amazing ideas, architectural skills, and positive attitude.”

“Highly recommended for historic homes! We used O'Brien Wood & Iron when redoing creaky floors and stairs in a 1700's home in Stroudwater historic district. Mat was punctual, honest, and detail-oriented -- the perfect combination for a contractor. It took me an extra week to pay them because I didn't have checks yet, but they were flexible and understanding. I'd hire them for any project -- big or small.”
