“Teakwood Builder remodeled my 140 year old house, and has since done several other projects, including exterior renovation and a new front porch. Their workmanship is very high and they come in on budget. (Sometimes not exactly on time...) They know a lot about old houses and they respect and love them. In other words, their solution isn't just to gut an old house and start from scratch. They work with the architectural details that are in your house and make it even more beautiful. Finally, if there are any problems or issues, they deal with them promptly. Really. I have bid other companies for projects, and they consistently are competitive. Given the quality of their workmanship and service, they are a very good value.”

“We hired Lawrence& Britton on the recommendation of good friends in our Catskills neighborhood. We try to spend most of our summers in what was a run down little camp. It is now a cabin, solid and elegant. Thanks to their attention to detail, exquisite craftsmanship and amazing communication with us about materials and design, we feel very fortunate to have found them. We are very happy to recommend Lawrence & Britton for renovations or new construction. Due to the pandemic's supply chain issues and very high prices in 2021, they worked diligently with us to identify and source quality materials at an affordable price. All the walls needed to be rebuilt as it was an old hunting camp, tossed together in 1942. See photos (the barn falling down in the back yard will be our next project). It's an amazing transformation. We feel strongly you will enjoy working with these folks and be very pleased with their work.”
