“Burlock Interiors had the pleasure of working with Quatrefoil on a designer showhouse in 2012. They installed a loft and all our wood paneling for us. It was then that we learned that they are general contractors of the highest caliber. This year, they invited us to style one of the kitchens they designed (and built) for a photo shoot. And it was the same thing. Amazing work. Our services certainly overlap. We design kitchens too! The point is, we know great work when we see it. If you want something beautiful in your home to show off to your friends and family, this company is one-stop-shopping. Seriously.”

“I couldn't be happier. Mari's suggestions were top-notch, though my wife and I felt the need to look at lots of other stuff before we returned to her original ideas and saw they were best. The materials were superb, everything was as-advertised, her workers were top professionals, the job has gotten oohs and aahs, even from a cynical friend who is "in the business" in a different county. My wife and I, now 6 months later, still stare admiringly at our new kitchen every day and the many perfect little touches, and can find not one tiny little itsy bitsy complaint or suggestion for improvement. It's gorgeous, it was inexpensive for what we got, it was on time. A rave, right? But she deserves it. It's a matter of taste, but I'd recommend what we got: the quaker maple cabinets, light natural wood (as opposed to painted white) and quartz countertops -- all the way to the ceiling, with concave crown moulding making the connection to the ceiling. Looks like a million bucks. Plus, Mari was delightful. Very upbeat and easy to work with.”

“Hudson Valley Sunrooms were FABULOUS. Working with them was one of the easiest renovation projects I have ever done. Very professional, and conscientious to a fault. My sunroom was completed on time, and within budget. ( And it's BEAUTIFUL! ) One of the things that just 'knocked me out' about the company ( and there were many ) was that my sunroom was delivered ( due to trucking problems beyond their control ) at 3am !!! The OWNER of the company showed up ( at 3am ! ) and handled every bit of the unloading, and sorting, Himself. ( Did I mention that there had been an unexpected snowstorm? ) He was there. The next day ( a few hours later ) his very knowledgeable crew showed up and began putting my sunroom together. Three days later, it was DONE. I couldn't be happier. My sunroom is my favorite room in the house, and Hudson Valley Sunrooms still calls periodically to check up, as a courtesy. I'd use them again. No reservations in recommending them to others. BTW... my sunroom is one of the ones in the slideshow... the one with the gargoyle... :-)”

“Jock and his team have now done two big renovation jobs at our house outside Chatham and we are already talking about a third. I wouldn't think of hiring a different builder. The budgeting and billing process is fair and transparent with no rude surprises, the workmanship is flawless, the workmen are great to have around and both jobs have gotten done in exactly the time frame promised. (Having done other jobs with other contractors in other places, believe me, these are words I never thought I would say about any contractor!) When unexpected conditions come up as they always do in renovations of old houses Jock is instantly on the spot to address them. Andrew, Jock's design partner, is gifted and tireless. Though I am now a screenwriter and director I was previously an architect, which makes me not the easiest design client, and both Andrew and Jock have handled my hyper-involved madness with grace and calm. The finished product on both jobs has the glow of work done meticulously and with a deep commitment to getting it exactly right. I give Claverack Builders my highest recommendation.”

“I have known Carl Forestieri , founder and chief of The CF Group, for over 15 years. He has done a significant amount of work on our home; both relatively minor, such as: installing bookshelves, a skylight, sliding glass door replacement, closets, handicapped ramp access, and others quite major, such as: an entirely new floor, significant roofing, new siding, a handicapped bathroom and a complete remodeling of a porch space into a charming, comfortable room. Most recently he and his crew did major foundation reconstruction, repairing a defect in the original construction that literally endangered the stability of the entire dwelling. He performed some of the work himself - in a most professional manner - and supervised and directed quite a number of craftsmen, specialists and journeymen. The quality of his work is excellent. Those who worked under his supervision were held by him to his own exacting standards. When it comes to options, methods and alternatives, Carl has consistently looked out for our best interest in both dealing with the task at hand as well as down the road considerations and implications. His work will last and maintenance will be simple. He is that rare contractor who combines both formal training as an engineer with the experienced skill, and pride, of a artisan. My wife and I have found it easy and enjoyable to work with Carl. We never had even the mildest discord in all the time we have worked together. I am pleased to call him a friend. Most importantly, he has integrity. He gives an honest proposal and an honest accounting of time and money. He can be trusted absolutely.
