The old, out-dated design and layout was completely reconfigured to provide a greater sense of space, natural light and functional flow. Throughout the design process, Trudie was equal parts attentive to our considerations and completely understood what we wanted as a finished product. She offered her expert advice and collaborated with us, seamlessly incorporating our ideas. During the demolition and construction, she was ever present and professionally directed the process. “It has been almost a year now since we embarked on our “great bathroom remodel”. We procrastinated as long as we could, envisioning months of mess and inconvenience. When we observed the tenth anniversary of the duct tape in the upstairs bathroom, we realized we couldn’t wait any longer. As soon as we started working with Magda and the crew from Neil Kelly, we knew we were in good hands. Magda worked with our crazy schedule and even crazier design ideas to help us create a space that is not only beautiful, but functional and easy to maintain. Magda provided subtle hints and advice as we selected materials with an eye towards ensuring our choices would stand the test of time and fit our budget. We felt confident that we knew how the job would unfold, thanks to Mike and his weekly check-ins and comprehensive calendar. Meeting all of the trades people prior to the commencement of work gave us the peace of mind that we would not have any surprises and that our home and puppy were in good hands. All of the crews were meticulous and worked hard to ensure that the chaos of the remodeling was limited to the bathrooms. Mike always went above and beyond expectations to ensure we were comfortable and the work met our expectations. When the plumber had a schedule conflict, Mike appeared at our door at 7 pm on a Friday night to install our toilet! Due to outstanding design work, craftsmanship and materials, our bathrooms still look new and add incredible beauty, value and functionality to our home. We can’t thank you enough for your professionalism and dedication!”

“We have done 3 remodeling projects with Henderer Design + Build. The first one was a major remodel from roof to lower level, including the kitchen, changing wall locations, just about everything. It was finished on time, beautifully done, by workers who were a pleasure to have in our home - daily for 3+ months. Our first experience was so excellent, that we chose Henderer again to remodel the upstairs bathroom - it's gorgeous and very functional. On each remodel, Mary Turney was outstanding in helping us find the right colors, tile, etc. - we'd still be trying to figure that out if she hadn't encouraged us along the way. So for our third remodel Henderer added on an entryway to our home, and coordinated fencing, concrete and stonework leading up to the house and on the driveway. It changes the whole impression of our home! I cannot recommend them highly enough.”

We knew when they would be here, who would be working that day and the area cleaned everyday. We knew the price and delays of all extra added projects above what we thought we wanted at the start of the project. John and Scott have great suggestions that you never imagined and work with all of your wild ideas with frankness and humor. I had some doozies. “These two produce beautiful work! Over the last few years, they have completed several projects at my house. 1. While I was having the house re-roofed, Aloha redesigned the entrance of my home, including moving the doors to a better location and they sourced and installed two special-ordered maple trees for either side. They also opened the height of a wall inside my home for a more specious feel in the new entryway 2. Removed an old deck in the front of my home and filled the underlying eroded area, with gravel and appropriate drainage infrastructure, preparing the area for a poured concrete walkway, by building concrete forms, and finishing the surrounding area for landscaping. 3. Built a curved, redwood deck and fence (I believe photos are here on their page) with sustainable redwood 4. Installed a larger 3-basin sink in my kitchen I have been very happy with their work, and recommend it to others. I am so pleased with the beautiful results!”

“Ryan helped us design a complete remodel and addition to our 1965 ranch style house. The project included a new septic system, a 600+ sq.ft. master bedroom, bath, closet, office, and laundry addition, complete update of existing home, and replacement of deck with patio and fire pit, new driveway and entry to house. The remodel included new windows, interior and exterior doors, molding, replacement of fireplace and wood stove with gas fireplace, new exterior siding, and trim. The remodel also included structural changes to the family room, vaulted ceiling, and relocating load earring wall. The results are amazing, giving us a home that looks great and functions magnificently. Ryan and his wife, Tinsa, managed and worked on the project from start to finish. Ryan did a professional job in all aspects of the project and handled all problems expediously. There were challenges, as expected, in a project this size and Ryan completed the project with flying colors. My wife and I could not be happier with the results.”
