“Mr. Barbour and his team did a great job finishing our basement. Out of an odd-shaped, cavernous area with many items to work around, they created a family room, guest-exercise room, full bath, two large closets and a workbench/storage area. The project was on time (two months) and on budget. They were knowledgeable, easy to work with, communicated with us well and respected our choices. They cleaned up the area every day they were here and kept dust to a minimum.”

“Ilan and his team have completed 2 projects for me. The first was Oct 2021: I was in a horrible place after my new construction business flooded and drywall, plumbing, flooring and cabinetry had to be removed due to city sewer backup. After working with my landlords, insurance, and the building HOA, I was still on the hook for a significant amount for repairs. Ilan met me the day after I called and got his team started on the project almost immediately. His guys are professional, efficient, and hardworking. You cannot go wrong with this team. I am so grateful with how they helped me during this difficult period. And that I was able to get back to business! I will definitely use them again should the need arise. The 2nd project was for my home, summer 2022. His team came and repaired our etched and detailed glass shower door for a fraction of the price a glass door store quoted me. Our railing had come off and we were told we would have to replace the entire glass door for a substandard quality and a significant cost and that the railing could not be fixed. Ilan's team came and fixed the railing within a few hours. The also made repairs throughout my home, including but not limited to: concrete stairs sealing, painting, re-sealing the shower and replacing fixtures. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He is reliable, transparent, and easy to get a hold of. I have had horrible experiences working with contractors, so his team is like a breath of fresh air. They will do the work until it is complete and done to your satisfaction.”

“It was a pleasure working with A & M General Contracting, they were hired to do a gut rehab on my building and the entire process was smooth and painless which doesn't happen often during gut rehab construction. Whenever I had an issue or change request I was able to get the owner on the phone and have these things scheduled to be completed within that same day. All the work was done professionally, clean, and 100% according to my stamped and approved drawings. I often visited my job site while A & M was working and tools were not sprawled out everywhere creating trip hazards, and at the end of every work day the site was completely free of any debris or trash. I'm not sure what anyone is looking for when selecting a contractor but if its a professional company that does the work right and fast and has great customer service then A and M General Contracting is the way to go.”

“Our experience in hiring Cornerstone for a kitchen remodel was outstanding in every respect. We got bids for this complete remodel project from 5 firms, and Cornerstone was far and away the best in their design, value, and time frame for completion. Once under contract they were a joy to deal with and kept every promise. We are both professionals by occupation and appreciate dealing with contractors who are also professional in their work. Nada and Jovan are total professionals in every way. Nada is a gifted designer, and is so easy to work with. She had ideas that were far better for our needs than any of the other firms that bid on the project. On the few occasions that we desired something different than she suggested, she was very happy to accommodate our ideas. Jovan was also the consummate professional and does beautiful work. The project was completed on time and within budget and looks as though it cost twice as much as it did. We have received raves from all who have seen our new kitchen. We couldn't be happier with the result and give them our highest recommendation.”

“I strongly recommend Mila’s Restoration and Remodeling to all family and friends. Alex is the best. He and his team are very professional and do great work. We had a pretty large water damage issue in the new house we had recently moved into, and Alex was a great partner working with the Insurance company and helping to navigate what could have otherwise been a very stressful situation. Alex and team exceeded all expectations. Alex communicates well on the status of the project daily and his team arrives when he says they will. The work was extensive and took a little over a month to complete, and there was not a single day that his guys didn’t show up when they said they would. His guys are very friendly, quick, do great work and they clean up the place very well every evening before leaving. Just one of many examples of how considerate the Mila’s team is - we have a 1-year-old daughter, and the guys were great about planning any loud work around her naps so they would be quiet and would not wake her. Alex and team are also very accountable, if something is wrong, they will make it right. I have worked with many contractors over the years and Alex and team stand above the rest. “We had a complete gut and remodeling of our vintage condo by Q Construction. They moved walls, enlarged doorways, installed hardwood floors, rewired the electrical, installed new plumbing along with kitchen and bathroom fixtures and cabinets. The work was done professionally, the workers were neat, clean, on time, and very respectful.
