They've done tens of thousands of dollars worth of work for us and we'd hire them again to do the same in a heartbeat. “Zinn Construction built our house in 2012. We had a terrific experience. The house is beautiful and they showed excellent attention to detail. Much of my inspiration came from pictures on Houzz. Phil was easy to work with and was very open to new ideas. We stayed on budget and finished construction in a timely manner. If Phil is still building houses in 25 years, we will definitely contact him to build our next downsized home.”

“I had an entire book of pictures of the type of house I wanted to build and had worked with a wonderful draftsman who laid out the house. We knew that we needed someone to help with the complicated roofline and the outside of the house and had friend who had John as the architect for their unique home. John helped us to translate my ideas into a picture perfect home. He laid out the complicated roofline, created a design for the outside of the home which captured the "lodge" look, including a signature window design, saved me from over and under estimating the size of rooms, created a unique yet wonderful floor plan. The home is both grand and intimate. He reminded me that there are three elements: size, detail, and cost.....and that I only got to have 2 of them! That helped a lot in the design and choice process. John is a gem...keen eye, sharp mind, both an artist and architect.”

“We built a Schorck home and have been thrilled with the quality and design. The floorplan was thoughtful and logical and fits our needs perfectly. The construction process was very organized and we were given a timeline for when selections were due. This cut down on the stress and made the experience fun. This included all new hardwood floors, new fireplace, removal of walls/cabinets, and complete renovation of the stairs along with various painting and upgrades to hardware throughout. “BJ built my home in Bloomington, IL. He has an outstanding reputation so I was excited to work with him during the process of building a home for the first time. He us honest, trustworthy, detail oriented, and has a solid background. He has an eye for beautiful craftsmanship and sticks by his work. He also finds way to work within your budget. We have moved out of our beautiful home due to relocation. Our house continues to be adored by others. If only he built houses in other states!”
