“Homoly Construction is the premier environmentally focused builder in the region. We have been blessed to work as a vendor / subcontractor to Homoly Construction on several projects. On this LEED Certified home we provided the bamboo flooring. If there is an environmentally focus home being built in the Kansas City Metropolitan area Homoly Construction and Davidson Architecture seem to be building it. USGBC LEED for homes, HBA Green Home certified they build them all.”

“Mark built our house in 2014 and we have a beautiful house, meeting all our expectations and more. We did while being out of state, through emails and pictures. It worked! The craftsmanship was outstanding. Building a house is a long sometimes challenging process and overall it went well. We had some up and down but that is totally expected for such a huge endeavor: asking a stranger to materialize the most expensive vision you ever had in your life... In the end it all worked out. He came back to fix a few things (which is normal) and we never had to pay or argue about it, he took care of it, no question, and that is special! I would totally work with him and his team again if we ever build another house. I would have no problem recommending him to my best friend or family. Great experience, great house, love living in it!”

Greg, his crew, and sub-contractors were creative and yet budget conscience. They were courteous and prompt. And they gave us the house that we hired them to design/build/remodel.”

“Dave and his son were very easy to work with. Met with them and explained how we wanted our basement finished, and they did a great job of listening and working with us to ensure the finished product was to our liking. Pricing was very reasonable as I had 4-5 bids from other contractors all over the place for the same work. Their timeline was just as promised, and Dave Jr would communicate with us every day on what was done & plan going forward. There were a few hiccups during the build (to no fault of them) like a bursted water pipe due to a freeze and Dave went out of his way to ensure we could get it fixed immediately. Never at any point did I feel like "they only want my money." And I cannot stress how great Dave was at communicating with us throughout the entire process. when I said he texted and/or called us each day I am not exaggerating. I would 100% recommend Dave Richards for any home building/improvement projects.”

“Ashlar Homes built my new home and I LOVE it! Shawn, the builder listened to what we wanted and was always available. He gave us his cell number and we could always leave a message, which he promptly returned, or would immediately answer his phone. Mr. Woods was always respectful and kind, even when we asked about things we just didn't understand. Overall our building experience was very positive.”
