She was also able to rework some existing furniture I already had - which was a huge money saver and incredible to fall in love with my old stuff again. “I have to say that working with Janet has been a breath of fresh air! We hired another interior designer, prior to Janet, to help us with our renovation and had such an awful experience that we were going to forget about hiring someone. Right as we were going to give up, a friend recommended Janet and we are so happy that he did!! Janet listened to our needs, walked us through the whole process, and made it such a fun experience for us both (this is not my husband's cup of tea). She helped us find a great and creative solution to one problem area in our house and showed us how we could express our tastes in innovating ways. We recently finished our project and are in LOVE with how our home turned out! We would highly recommend Janet to anyone looking for an interior designer. Her taste is impeccable, and she does what she says she is going to do in a timely fashion. I never found her to try and up sell me unnecessarily and her advice was spot on. “Lauren is a wonderful designer. She designs rooms that are timeless and classic but up to date and fresh. I like to say that we have the same taste - but hers is better. She understands what I like but makes it much more fabulous. I have worked with her on 3 different homes, from a summer cottage to a huge city factory conversion, choosing fixtures and finishes, fabrics and furniture from the start to finish. She helping me on my fourth project now. She is very professional and wonderful to work with in every way.”
