“I hired Kirsten Pike Design, upon recommendation by the concierge at The Harrison, to completely design and furnish my 30th story apartment overlooking San Francisco as well as San Francisco Bay. Kirsten was involved with every single, minute detail of the design and execution of her incredible vision for my home. She has a perfect balance between being a collaborator and yet be completely in charge…taking all stress away from the property owner. Earlier than mid project, I gave her carte blanche. She knew what I wanted and I trusted her know how 100%: Impeccable taste and finesse...Brilliant even. What a talent! Early in the project, I moved in. I travel a lot and we arranged for her to do the work when I was gone. Everything is now a cohesive whole so the living spaces, kitchen and bathrooms flow together. Amongst so many things, she designed a stunning wall of decorative plaster and a bar that is as lovely as it is practical. My space is a jewel box where nothing is left to coincide. Also every delivery was overseen and the small practicalities that a homeowner doesn't want to deal with before, during and after a remodel. When I wasn't pleased with my high end flower delivery service, Kirsten did it personally and once again blew my away. I am just sad that when I come home from my travels there isn’t a new “surprise” waiting for me, as the apartment is perfect! I think any discerning person with high expectations will be very happy with Kirsten Pike Design.”

“If I could give Sandra 1000 stars, I would!!! She is Amazing!!! We had never imagined how fabulous our home could be until Sandra brought the vision and the talent!! The incredible transformation all came together in good time and within budget. Sandra helped us to focus our time, money and energy on the things that truly made a difference in getting our home market-ready and bringing in top dollar. Everyone who saw our home loved it!! We had several offers on our home before it even came on the market. We owe it all to Sandra!! As if that weren't enough, Sandra is the sweetest, most caring person whom we could have ever asked for. She always took the time to hear our input and concerns. With all the stress that goes into selling a home, she always helped to put our minds at ease. “My husband and I hired Kirsten/Sustainable Home to help us with our home remodel last fall at the recommendation of our contractor. We liked that she was knowledgeable about environmental issues related to furnishing and designing a home, and we liked what we saw on her website. What we found in working with her was that, in addition to her "green" knowledge, Kirsten brought a lovely and professional personality to the process. She was friendly, flexible, full of good ideas, a good listener, honest, and good at discerning what my husband and I would like for our decor (in other words, she worked with our vision for the house rather than pushing her own agenda). We were working on a tight timeline, and she was able to pull the project together in time, with just a few non-essential odds and ends remaining that have since been completed. We were incredibly pleased with the results in our home. Choosing to work with her gave us a home we love being in, saved us untold hours of searching for different products on our own, and probably saved us a good bit of money, too, since she was able to focus and direct us. I have recommended her to other friends with pleasure.”

“How wonderful to have a decorator who does not provide cookie-cutter designs. She looked at our home, listened to who we are and what we wanted and provided us with choices. From our slate entry to our new floors to the built-ins in the family room to our granite in the kitchen and bathroom, it all ties together to provide a warm, comfortable home. We get so many compliments, I think we may have the design others want to copy.”

“Ariel has such a light hand and does everything with such ease! My partner and I were overwhelmed with trying to quickly furnish our new home and starting with almost nothing. I tend to overthink every decision, so I really needed help bringing together a cohesive design and be confident in our decision making. This was also at the time that everything was out of stock, and Ariel was able to source items that were almost all entirely in stock. Ariel really listened to the exact requirements we had for our unique space and made sure that each piece would fit just right, with an emphasis on quality and longevity. More importantly, she helped us be brave when it came to bold design decisions. A dark and moody dining space is not something we would have ever thought of on our own, let alone been confident enough to execute. It ended up being the most stylish corner in our home, has such a Chicago vibe, and continues to be the source of inspiration for or other design decisions. Ariel really helped us quickly get from zero (literally only a mattress on the floor) to fully furnished in a matter of a couple of months. We are still putting together finishing touches and decorative elements, and Ariel's online design resources are really helpful for that as well.”

“This being our first major remodel to our home of 15 years, the planning and execution was a very daunting task for us because it included our Kitchen, Living room and Family room. We were not sure whether the decisions we take was going to be correct. That is when we met Swati at a booth in an event in Cupertino. Working with Swati was the best decision we took. She helped us with the planning, designing and working with our contractor throughout the project. She came up with practical ideas for our Kitchen. She recommended the stores from where we could buy materials and accompanied us while we shopped for appliances, flooring other major purchases for our project. Swati was always punctual for all appointments and was clear in all her communications. We highly recommend Swati for your home projects.”
