“We first used Mary when we remodeled our kitchen about 3 years ago, she did a great job and we loved working with her. She had a lot of creative ideas and was always very helpful. In addition the contractors she used did excellent work. This year we had Mary remodel our master bathroom, once again she hit it out of the park. I have a feeling we will be working with Mary in the future.”

Graciela's design work is excellent, from her initial quotes with 20/20 cabinet designs and true color options for your product selections! She has established herself with a great career path in all aspects of products for a home. She is very knowledgeable in all types of products from backsplash materials to window treatments, she has the experience. And she knows the sources, where to go to find what you like! The installation team is great, respectful, hardworking and all her family! This is the family to take your work to! If there is a problem, they brainstorm to bring your design together and keep you happy! I love my kitchen and the work they did! All her ideas and my desires came together once installed!”

“Talavera refinished a cabinet for me, 'remaking' it from an old, typically-found brown buffet, to a stunning distressed, off white cabinet that hints at the old brown wood beneath. With attention to keeping the vintage look and feel of the cabinet in place, they reinforced shelves only where needed, and straightened hardware just enough to make the doors solidly functional. The result is beautiful, and the buffet is an eye catcher in my kitchen. Talavera also carried the distressed idea up to my staircase landing by building a bookcase in their woodshop. They kept the comfortable feel of my home in mind when designing a piece that would bring warmth to the landing without overpowering the staircase or looking out of place. Of course it was distressed in a beautiful old-world green. Larry and his crew asked a lot of questions, and made a lot of suggestions, before, during, and after each of my above-mentioned projects to ensure that I loved what came into my home. The Progress Pictures meant a lot to me, and I appreciate that Larry worked with me to stay within my budget and pulled no 'surprise' upcharges. Though I am a person that always wants it 'yesterday', Talavera stayed right on the estimated time-to-complete, and even delivered a little early. Worked for me, and they will be hired again. (Last year they did a beautiful covered patio for my patio home, but that's another post for their remodeling abilities!).”

“I was in need of a bathroom remodel and had some ideas but I'm not very good at conveying my ideas to others or at envisioning the final results so I contracted with Total Design Homes. I love the ocean so I wanted some sort of beach feel to my bathroom tub area so I could relax and feel at back at home while living in the desert. Their team asked me quite a few questions about my ideas and somehow with the little information I provided them they designed and built me the bathroom that I have always wanted. Cynthia found this plank tile the has all the colors that I love and reminds me of the ocean with beach wood. I hope I get to add a picture on this review for everyone to see since I have a hard time explaining what my bathroom looks like. However, it's amazing and I love it! Thank you Thom, Cynthia and Katie for all your assistance! Hire Total Design Homes if you want to bring your ideas and dreams to fruition! Kitchen is next and can't wait to see what they design!”

“Ernesto has an artist’s eye for color and detail, and sketched out what each room had the potential to become. He worked with us first on the basics: paint, carpet, and repairs. He then turned his attention to the furniture that would transform the house into a home. His instincts on which color combinations and style of furniture, rugs, and lighting would work best together were unerringly correct. He did a wonderful job and the work he did for us won three awards in a design competition. We could not have been happier with Ernesto.”

“From the time Mike Ambrose picked up the phone when I called William Jackson till the time I signed off and paid my final bill, he was respectful and thorough. I sat down in his office with his computer aided rendering of my space with a kitchen that would have made me jealous were it not my own! How did he do that? He knew the questions to ask! He and I had a conversation by phone and in person while he measured my kitchen and bathroom spaces. I hardly realized the conversation led him to the information he needed to design the perfect kitchen and bathroom for me. He saw flaws in my original kitchen that I had never noticed, and corrected them in the new plan. I made only two adjustments to the very first kitchen he planned. It was that perfect! Mike is a great listener, a great studier of space and lifestyle through each person he serves. He is meticulous with details and options. I learned so much from him during this project! When Bill Clerke, the owner and installer, came to "build" my kitchen space, he was quiet and clean. No loud radio or phone calls in my presence. He never called attention to himself, just put the kitchen together. He only interrupted me if he had a question--and that was seldom because Mike had taken care of so many of the details in the planning process that the construction went smoothly. I love the new space I have and the options it opens to me. Thanks Mike and Bill!”

““We were in need of an overhaul to our 1986 kitchen (low ceiling, dated cabinetry, dated breakfast nook and poor use of space) - after shaking Gary's hand and his initial thorough walk-through, we knew that we had our design & remodeling team. We chose the Fallone's as both Robin and Gary have great ideas, are very personable and punctual. This was our first remodel and the Fallone's walked us through the process, helped guide us in the right direction, presented us with a detailed schedule of the process and even met us at different locations to select tile, stone, etc. They also listened to our ideas, "must haves" and our "second thoughts" throughout the project. Not only was the project completed on time, but the kitchen was finished early! Their trade contractors and build team are very professional and performed outstanding work. We went from an unusable closed-in space to an open kitchen that included a proportionate island with all of the amenities (and yes, even a built-in drop-down & retractable LCD TV hidden in the cabinetry). The room has essentially become an addition to the house - far more than just meal preparation it is now a place to congregate. I often work from home while seated at the island and use the kitchen as a backdrop for video conferencing. We would absolutely recommend Fallone Building and Remodeling and have engaged their services once again for the design and build of our new master bathroom (can't wait).””
