Premier Remodeling & Design, LLC
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsOctober 3, 2013
“Master Bathroom Remodel - Replacement of shower with plumbing fixtures, wall finishes and flooring. Premier Remodeling took charge of the project and coordinated 7 different trades with virtually no disruption to the household. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding. The original estimate was a budget for the project - the final billing provided a list of the billings from each trades, supply purchases from each vendor as well as Premier's time and mark up. The process was seamless and easy to understand. Changes made during construction turned into simple decisions in large part due to Premier Remodeling & Design's experience and knowledge. I would recommend this contractor to anyone considering a remodel and I plan on using them for future remodels.”

CBI Remodel

“Paul and his crew at CBI Remodel custom built a buffet for me that I had in my minds eye for at least ten years. Paul listened to me when I told hin what I wanted, measured the space and told me what I might be giving up since I was replacing a bannister with a 20 inch deep buffet and would impact walking room around the diningroom table. I gave him the go ahead, he drew up the plans, showed them to me for final approval and a few weeks later, I had my buffet. It took about 5 hours to tearout the banister, cut the carpet install hardware. We entertained alot this past holiday and literally everone who had been to the house previously was amazed at how much it added to the room and how functional it is. I have a fairly large Music CD collection which is now stored in the buffet and knowing that, Paul installed heavey duty drawer hardware. Tos say I am happy really doesn't even cover it. I can, without reservation say, if you have ANY KIND OF PROJECT that requires a contractor, you won't do any better that Paul and the crew at CBI remodel. Peter Tosi”

“Pilgrims renovated our fifty year old beach house on the Oregon coast. It is now a charming coast cottage. We had owned and used the house for 10 years. Our wish was to add a second bathroom and an overall update. We wanted the knotty pine paneling throughout the house preserved and used again. We asked for simplicity and charm. Preplanning with Pilgrims included wants, have-to-haves, layout changes, plans and permits, surface material choices for floors and counters, and cabinet styles. In order to add the second bathroom it was necessary to change the roof line. Design ideas were presented to us to choose from. Local zoning requirements surfaced and Pilgrims worked with us and the county to resolve them. Planning started a few months before the actual work. When the work started it rolled continuously for four months. There were no long delays or excuses. Unexpected problems surfaced as work progressed. We were involved in all decisions. Pilgrims staff and their crews were friendly, courteous and careful. The process was a pleasure and the result continues to please us. We wouldn't hesitate to use Pilgrims again, and would highly recommend them to others.”

We had several bids on this project, all but one we found on Angies list. While SHR was not the lowest cost option, we are so glad we chose to have Darren and his team help us. The total value SHR brought to this project is hard to put into dollars, but well worth the cost we spent over the lower cost bids. So why did we choose SHR? Darren was the only contractor who really had a vision for what our small feeling bathroom could become. Remove a few walls to open up the room, transform and tile the shower, replace the soaker tub, tile the floor and heat it. It was so easy for him to see the possibilities that we had no idea were possible on a budget we could afford. We especially liked his idea on the entry to our new bathroom, Barn door style, with unique rolling hardware from Krown Labs, a local Portland company that sources all their materials in the local area. We like to support our local economy whenever possible, and there is just something neat about showing off the local craftsmanship you can find right in your own backyard. Darren shared his vision with us and helped us see the possibilities. He provided computer drawings to show what it would look like and always had a strong sense of direction for how it would come together, which gave us confidence to move forward with such a big change and investment. Having your Master bathroom gutted and redone was a big step for us, both financially and because it was attached to our Master Bedroom, logistically inconvenient. Darren and his team made the process manageable and often stayed late to finish key parts of the project so the impacts to our family were minimized. Having someone in our home unsupervised for the duration of this project was another concern we had, but after interacting with Darren and his team for one day, I had no worries after that. As with most complex and detailed tasks, our project had a few surprises along the way, but Darren was quick to inform me of them and if needed, he quoted out the additional costs to get the work completed to our satisfaction. One key point about Darren and his team, they can solve just about any problem you may have on your project, this was greatly appreciated and valued by our family, and gave us a strong feeling of confidence throughout the job. I want to also point out that Darren and his team have a strong work ethic and take pride in the work they complete each day. This translates to an excellent final product with impeccable quality and craftsmanship. We really love our new Bathrooms, the work is excellent quality all the way around, down the smallest detail. Even the caulking is perfect! Wow! Please give Darren a call if you need any remodeling work done, even here in the Portland Metro Area.”
