“I hired Great Oaks to design and install my landscape as soon as they renovated my neighbors property and it sold for 10% more then its asking price. They are so helpful and respectful. They took the time to educate me about what they were planning, installing, the process, and just about landscape architecture in general. I learned so much from them and they created a breathtaking outdoor living space which I use everyday. It made my house something I was proud to show off. I now have friends and family over because they turned my backyard into a entertaining living area which is simply beautiful and I can fit 3 times as many people as I used to be able too. I Never could have imagined a big landscaping company woud care so much about 1 individual homeowner but they really do. They still contact me to make sure it's still as perfect as the day it was installed.”

“We're in our forever home so it was important for us to have the job done right and not just done. We met with 3 companies and after they submitted their proposals there was no question who to go with, we selected Shannon and the Superior Scape team, and would do it again (will do it again). Shannon listened to what we the non-experts were looking for and brought them to life in his proposal. He found ways to make our ideas look professional by creating lines that flow with surrounding landscape and adding design elements which we did not think of. Also, the team which did the actual installation was great! This experience, from the first meeting to proposal to payment was exactly what we were hoping for and only found through Superior Scape. “We would like to highly recommend Serge van der Voo Landscapes! We hired Serge and his team to do a completely new landscape and hardscape at our historic home on Ann Arbor's Old West Side. The work was extensive and Serge was very flexible in agreeing to break it into three phases to be accomplished over two years. The plan he developed was beautiful. He first listened to our likes and dislikes and got to know us. He spent a lot of time at the house and around the neighborhood. The plan he developed was meant to represent the era of the home, this was reflected in the selection of plantings and the overall design. The crews that Serge employed were prompt and courteous and cleaned up each night. Serge went out of his way to update us as the work progressed and to educate us about the care of each planting. Once the work was completed Serge continued to come back and check on things. If there were plantings that did not work as planned Serge explained our options and helped from there. “We hired Daryl Toby and AguaFina to do our landscape architecture in preparation for a wedding we were having at our home. Their staff was friendly and knowledgable and were able to incorporate many of the ideas we were looking for. They also incorporate many of the native plants that we already had on site to cut down on costs. In addition, Daryl treated the project with a meticulous attention to detail and demanded excellence. This was a beautifully implemented project and led to a wonderful June wedding.”

He knows the world of plants well and picked out a variety of plants the fit our needs (low maintenance) and our budget while looking great When there were a couple of details left at the end of the project he and his crew tied up all the loose ends and Pete made sure we were satisfied.”
